Designed by a famous fashion designer this large central london apartment in an old Victorian building , has a large roof terrace for sitting out on and a beautiful modern well stocked kitchen, huge bathroom with a large walk in shower!

The kitchen is fully equipped and has a new washing machine

It has a king size master bedroom, another bedroom with 2 double beds and a large sofa in the living room . The flat is warm private and very cosy and designed to be a home from home.

There is a 70 inch smart tv in the big living room

We provide towels and Egyptian cotton bedding - very comfortable !

Very close to all of central london, 20 minutes walk to Big Ben and London Bridge. Kennington tube is 5 minutes walk away

Good English pubs nearby , lots of restaurants and Borough organic food market and Bermondsey antique market is close by.

Transport around London could not be better with subways , buses and trains all within 4 mins walk, and Big Ben only 18 mins walk.

Great location and springboard for central London

Easy to travel into cenral London from the property. Close to Borough market also. Could also recommend Toulouse Lautrec next door for something to eat, and superb service. Matthew was an attentive landlord. Over all, an enjoyable stay.

Family trip to London

We had a lovely stay at this well equipped and spacious apartment. Good bus links around the city which was very fairly priced and convenient for us. Tube station near by and do close to the city centre

Super!

I can only reiterate the comments of others. Matthew replied to messages very quickly. Irma was wonderful - preparing the apartment beautifully before we arrived and meeting us there and helping us afterwards. Comfortable beds - really benefitted from the superking size bed (6ft) in the master room - home from home and not easy to find in rentals. Spacious shower room with powerful oferhead shower, lots of hot water and plenty of fresh towels. The location is spot on - not only halfway between Elephant and Castle and Kennington but right next to a bus stop which provided us with very cheap and convenient travel around London for the weekend - under 16a free and using a contactless card there was no need for an Oyster card - £3 a day for off-peak! There is a small Tesco nearby which sold everything we needed grocery wise. All in all a lovely flat, brilliant location and definitely somewhere to recommend for a stay in central London.

Nice property, lived in but clean.

Comfortable property, small but well-equipped kitchen. More stairs than I’d realised from looking at the photos, property is laid out over three floors plus a staircase up from the front door. Irma was lovely and helpful and we had everything we needed, including a high chair for our toddler. Handy location.

Cozy, everything one needs

Pros: The space was clean and as advertised. The space is well located near Elephant and Castle and well within walking distance to the Kennington station. No more than 5 people should stay in this space, as the kitchen and common space will get tight. We had five and a baby in our party, we spent most of our day time touring, we cooked in the evening, and we never felt the need to have a bigger space. But it was close. Cons: The environment surrounding the apartment space can be difficult. The intersection of Kennington Park Road and Kennington Lane is busy on workdays and currently there's construction work across Kennington Lane. Matthew has done an excellent job limiting the issue by installing double-pane windows in the bedrooms. This is a five star location if not for one issue. On the final night of our stay, the sushi restaurant that occupies the basement of the apartment decided to stain/paint their hardwood floors. The strong toxic fumes rose into the living space where we five (and a baby) started to fear that we would not wake up should we fall asleep. We turned on all the provided fans and slept with the windows open on a cool March evening and dealt with the sound of the Saturday night traffic and nightlife. I assume Matthew rents to the sushi restaurant downstairs. If so, the timing of this type of routine maintenance needs to be better managed and communicated.
