This is a large private villa that has been furbished to very high standards. It is ideal for both couples and families. A great mix of indoor and outdoor living is achieved with a spacious veranda and separate balcony that give stunning sea views and spectacular mountain landscapes. Sit and dine al fresco and watch the stunning evening sunsets. Pop downstairs to the Orchard and pick your own array of tropical fruit. Quiet location with stunning ocean views

Well kept spacious property with stunning ocean views . Close to supermarkets . Owner was very helpful with regards to location advice on the area and the booking process was seamless. Will definately stay there again

Amazing holiday

We loved this villa!!! Spacious, tastefully decorated and comfortable. When you open your curtains in the morning you see the stunning views of the ocean, a perfect start to the day. The villa was always a cool retreat from the daytime sun and at night it was a comfortable temperature to sleep in. The villa is situated on the hill side in quiet residential area, within a 5 minutes drive down to Calheta, and within 15 minutes drive from other beaches, ports, bars and restaurants. We found the prices affordable and good quality (the food was excellent) Madeira is a beautiful island very traditional, clean and unspoilt. We will return

Fabulous view from the terrace of this good sized villa

The villa was a good size tucked away from the main road but allowed easy access to the Rapida so we could visit different parts of the Island. Some of the furniture and linen was a bit tired but was functional. The builders next door started work at 8.00 am Monday to Saturday so no lie ins. Obviously the view from the bedrooms was spoilt by this new build. On the other side there was constant bubbling from their swimming pool mechanism which was never used while we were in the house - this could be heard from the terrace. On balance the villa was good value and if certain issues were addressed then we would come back again on our annual Madeira holiday

Spacieuse, lumineuse, ouverte sur l’océan

C’est notre maison du mois de décembre pour la deuxième année de suite, avec le sentiment d’être comme chez nous, mais face à l’océan et l’amplitude du ciel, que nous n’avons pas dans la région parisienne. Les chambres sont spacieuses, les salles de bain agréables, mais ce qui nous comble c’est le grand salon-séjour avec sa baie vitrée en arc de cercle donnant sur l’océan et c’est une grande cuisine avec tout le nécessaire pour les repas, pour nous le petit déjeuner, avec ce magnifique grille-pain pour quatre tranches. Belle et grande terrasse, et un jardin en contre-bas, emplis de soleil, que nous utilisons peu, étant le plus souvent le long des levadas. Les échanges avec Ian qui n’habite pas sur l’île sont simples et agréables, au moindre mail il répond quasi instantanément, sur place nous savons qu’il y a Rose et son mari prêts à intervenir s’il y avait le moindre problème. C’est notre petit palais du mois de décembre, que nous retrouverons avec plaisir l’an prochain si c’est possible.

Schönes Haus mit einige Einschränkungen

Das Ferienhaus hat eine schöne Lage und man hat einen tollen Blick aufs Meer. Auch ist die Ausstattung umfangreich, aber teilweise schon sehr abgenutzt und müsste ausgetauscht oder überarbeitet werden. Dieses Jahr gab es sehr viele Mücken auf Madeira und es wäre gut, wenn die Fenster und Türen mit Fliegengitter ausgestattet wären.
