Great Location and size- few hidden costs, but great value for money

First of all, the apartment was extremely clean and is a lot bigger that it looks in the pictures. There is a double bedroom , a sofa bed and a small alcove tucked away with another double bed. The bathroom is very big and the kitchen has everything you need. There are two wardrobes which was very handy.

Because of the way Chamonix works you cannot ski to each valley and you need to get a bus, the nearest bus stop is 5 mins walk from the apartment. The nearest lift is the Brevent chair lift and this is 10-15 minutes walk away but all up hill so everyone got the bus, which was 5 mins.

It would have been useful to have more information in the apartment on where the nearest lift was , or maybe a ski map left for you. Also there is no bedding or towels included , which we weren't aware of , so arrived with no towels or bedding and were going to have to pay a lot extra for this, so make sure you double check or bring your own! Also cleaning wasn't included which we were only told when we arrived so make sure you leave enough time to clean the apartment else you will have to pay extra as well.

Only 5-7 mins walk away from great bars and restaurants, this is a lovely little apartment in a great location, great for families! Thanks for a lovely stay.

Owner's Response: Dear Guest, Many thanks for your kind feedback about the quality of our flat and its location. It is very important to us to maintain high standard of service, so here are a few relevant information: (i) ski lift of Savoy leading to Brevent ski domain is located literally at the bottom of our building (200m walk). Therefore no bus ride/long walk is necessary to get to ski. (ii) our add states that bedsheets/towels are not provided. (iii) a cleaning fee is also clearly stated and included in the price published by the booking website so that guests are well informed prior to booking. We will keep doing our best to provide a pleasant Holiday home in Chamonix to our guests so that we are able to maintain a 5-star rating. Many thanks and best regards. the owner

A great little apartment in the heart of Chamonox

The apartment was perfect for a family of three. I comprised one main bedroom and a double bed set back in a recess off of the living room. It was very clean and tidy and very well appointed. The garage was really useful as parking in Chamonix is always difficult. The location was great as it was no more than 200m from the main shopping streets and the Brevent lift.

Très bon séjour

Très bon séjour malgré le manque de neige. Appartement conforme aux photos. Très bien situé et à proximité immédiate du centre de Chamonix. Le "plus" est le parking souterrain pour la voiture : véritable chance quand on connait les difficultés de stationnement à Chamonix surtout pendant les périodes de fortes affluences.

L'espace de l'appartement est suffisant pour 4 personnes. La grande salle de bain est fortement appréciable.

Le seul petit point à revoir pour nous, sera peut-être la literie du lit situé dans l'alcôve.

Sinon séjour "Tip-Top", location à recommander !!!

Situation idéale

C'est un plaisir renouvelé chaque année pour les vacances de février, avec nos jeunes enfants. A deux pas du centre et au pied des pistes, tout est présent pour nous faciliter la vie (parking privé...). L'appartement est très sympa, bien décoré et fonctionnel.

petit nid douillet

Les propriétaires ont tout fait pour que l'on soit comme chez nous.

C'est la 2 ème fois que je loue cet appart,(1 fois en hiver et 1 fois en été) tout confort, très chaleureux et idéalement placé près du centre ville.

Excellents rapports avec les propriétaires qui sont d'une très grande disponibilité et réactivité. C'est parfait!!!!!!!!
