About Cristina Berio

I'm an Italian native from Milan, currently residing in Los Angeles. I work in the film industry as a Dubbing Supervisor, and my jobs frequently take me to South America and Europe to supervise the foreign language dubbing of major film releases.

My kids and grand kids are spread all over the world, so it takes a lot of flying to see them every year, but I love it!

I'm fluent in English, Italian, and Portuguese, and I speak a little bit of French and Spanish. Our, greeter, Karin, is also fluent in German.

Cristina Berio purchased this apartment in 2003

Why Cristina Berio chose Radicondoli

This property is owned by me and my siblings. Our dad settled in Radicondoli in the 1980s' and he loved this village. Before passing away in 2003, he wanted to make sure we had a place in Radicondoli, so we could come back to this lovely village, so dear to him. Plus we still have close relatives that live in the area. We feel so lucky we can come here on vacation every year with our families, and enjoy our elegant, comfortable and huge apartment ... much more spacious than other comparably priced rentals in town!

What makes this apartment unique

This apartment is so large that there are several distinct areas to it, each with a different feel. Each bedroom is quite different from the other and they are on different floors and opposite sides of the apartment, so there is a lot of privacy. The kitchen is to die for ... truly a sociable pleasure to cook in!

Catering and cooking lessons available upon request and pending availability, at additional cost to be determined.

The apartment is large enough for two or three couples or large families. Wifi is available in the entire home and there is an iPod dock sound system for playing music. The kitchen fireplace is large enough for grilling and wood is available in the nearby large basket. The refrigerator is half size, not mini, and there is also a separate freezer. Children are welcome, but renters must beware of the open stairwell and steps both upstairs and down. The home will be delivered clean and ready to occupy with towels, bed linens and basic toiletries. If you like, you may hire a cleaning lady to come during your stay, easily arranged at 15 Euros per hour. You may also request private catering and cooking lessons, but we need to know well in advance in order to confirm availability. The village has plenty of parking space half a block away.

Cosy and spectacular flat in a vivid mountain village with a lovely view

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay very much. The flat was beautifully decorated, well-planned and well-equipped, the view from the terrace was spectacular, beds were comfortable and the owner and host were both very friendly and helpful. The village was lively and we felt part of the daily Italian life; going to the bakery in the morning, queuing up to fill our water bottles, visiting the small food shops and the restaurants of the village. For future visitors it is good to know that the village is quite remote, far up in the hills, which means it takes at least 30-60 minutes to drive to other towns you would like to visit. The only minus of the flat was that it was quite cold which I suspect is normal in Italy in this season (late October-early November).

Wonderful apartment in a beautiful village!

  • 5 of 5

We spent two weeks in this lovely apartment in Radicondoli. The apartment is very comfortable and we felt instantly at home away from home.It is very tastefully furnished without losing the original charm. Very spacious accommodation with stunning views from the balcony over the Tuscan hills. It is very well equipped and makes for easy living. The owner is very charming and always available and the apartment is locally looked after by the very friendly and competent Karin who also gives great advice on things to do and places to visit. Radicondoli has three very good restaurants, all within a few minutes walk from the apartment. If you feel like a truly relaxing and stimulating holiday, this is the place for you.

Great space, loved the back terrace and the lovely town

  • 5 of 5

Everything was great. A little dark around the dinning room table. Lots of supplies and extras. Loved the softness of the downstairs bedroom duvet cover. I want one lol.

Karin was very helpful. Thanks for everything.

We spent a week in Radicondoli in July 2014 and had a great time. The house is charming and comfortable, with views on the Tuscan hills. It is well equipped, with lots of light. We would go back often if we didn't live on the other side of an ocean!
