Lovely quiet apartment just a few mins from S Marco

Nice modern apartment with two terraces on the quiet side of Giudecca just a few minutes from fine local restaurants and shops. A great spot from which to explore this year's Biennale.

Our return to Venice

Again a wonderful stay in Elena's very comfortable apartment. Quiet and well situated close to a Co-op, bar, La Palanca, with Andrea in charge. Also close to Vaporetto linking quickly to Accademia. Wonderful place to enjoy Venice!

Affordable apartment with a roof terrace in a handy location,

The Giudecca is a great place to stay when visiting Venice because it's less crowded and its a place where locals live and work. This apartment is in a modern block overlooking the Venice lagoon, not far from the Palanca vaporetto stop. It's on the top floor and has a terrace on the roof, which is lovely for sunbathing, breakfasting and lunch. If you are intending to do lots of cooking, I'd say it's not really equipped for the keen chef, but we ate out most of the time, so that wasn't a problem. It's perfectly good enough for making simple meals which we occasionally did. We've stayed in other apartments in this area which were much more expensive. This apartment is good value. We enjoyed playing the box of jazz CDs!.
