A spacious and interesting house ideal for holidays with extended family or friends
This is a lovely big house, full of interesting features, inside and out. It has been imaginatively renovated retaining the charm of the old stone structures, and decorated with style and a touch of humour.
The kitchen is well equipped, and the living/dining areas are spacious and comfortable. The garden is big and secluded with trees for shade and a south facing terrace.
We had a lovely holiday here, with extended family who were visiting the area for the first time. The house was well suited to this, with plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed meals round the table on the terrace, frequently followed by watching the stars while hearing the sound of laughter and table-tennis coming from inside.
Beaches on the coast around La Palmyre are about 30 minutes away, and there are plenty of interesting places within easy reach.
The owner was friendly and helpful, and we were made to feel welcome.
This was a very enjoyable and memorable trip, with the French world cup victory at the start, and a lunar eclipse at the end. We left with many happy memories, and look forward to returning in the future.
