Poor attention to detail

Location is excellent. The apartment is small even by usual standards in French resorts. It is marketed as for up to 6 people, but was very small even for 4. Very limited storage space, which with ski gear for 4 is a problem. Poor attention to detail - On arrival one duvet was missing, which caused us some difficulties for one night. 2 keys for the apartment, but only one key for the (exceptionally small) ski locker. No ‘information pack’ with useful information about the resort - not even phone numbers for apartment management. Excessively large deposit demanded. So, the location of this apartment is excellent, but attention to the needs of visitors needs improvement.

Nice apartment, very poor internet

The apartment is in Cap Neige, very well situated to explore Avoriaz. The apartment seems quite new, well organized and comfortable. We also liked the easy access to the ski locker. The owner has been very responsive. However, we had a less happy experience with the manager of the property. First, she doesn’t necessarily pick up calls, and when I leave messages she never returns the call. The most frustrating part was the lack of internet. Although the apartment has its own wifi box, we had very little internet access, which complicated our lives as we were taking our work to Avoriaz. The response to the situation was rather disappointing. I had to call several times since the property manager does not return my calls, and only to be told that it was not her problem. The owner was responsive in saying that she would call a technician but we did not see improvement of internet during the week. So the bottom line: if you need wifi for your work or have teenage kids whose life depends on connectivity, this place is not for you, but otherwise, it is a very charming apartment in a great spot of Avoriaz.
