Lovely French Villa
We had a wonderful stay at Domain du Piol. The Villa had everything we needed . Air conditioning was great in the evenings. The bedrooms are quite small , but perfectly comfortable, for our family. The swimming pool was very much enjoyed by our children on the warm afternoons..The Location was perfect for visiting the many towns and villages of the Côte du zur. Vence was a typical French town with a choice of restaurants . Our favorite was St Veran . Recommended by a resident at the Domain. Would highly recommend a stay here . Thank you Sabyne.

Lovely and very french!
This little house nestled in a private residence was lovely. It is unpretentious and practical. It was good for our little family of 4. We enjoyed our breakfast in the garden and the proximity to Saint Paul de Vence (5 min drive), but also to the supermarket Leclerc and the shopping mall Polygone (5 min drive). The owner is very nice and friendly and she had good recommendations. We would definitely reconsider staying there next time we're in the area.

Gem of a property but !
The property and garden was better than the advert and host Sabyne was excellent. A car which we did have is an absolute must as the fairly busy narrow road to St Paul is dangerous to walk on. The nearest shopping is about 2k away and Vence which is about 5k away and has a good range of shops and restaurants. St Paul is worth one visit but parking is difficult or a rip off if using the multi car park. Lots of nice villages in area. Would certainly consider staying at property if visiting area in future.

Look No Further!!!
We stayed at this charming villa for an amazing three week family holiday in the summer of 2012. The villa has a lovely homely feel, everything was clean, well maintained and the beds very comfortable. The garden is absolutely fabulous, very well maintained and a haven for relaxing in and alfresco dining after a busy day sightseeing. Our host Sabyne was friendly and non-intrusive - visiting to ensure that everything was perfect for our stay and drop off a bottle of rose or two (thanks again Sabyne, wish I was enjoying a glass on the terrace right now!!). The domain provides a peaceful retreat and is a perfect location to explore the region. Monaco and the Italian border are only 30 mins away and there are several picturesque hilltop villages near by which are not to be missed. Our favourite was Tourrettes sur Loup a beautiful medieval village with lovely shops and a village square which is lined with restaurants and regularly has live entertainment on in the evenings. There is also plenty for the children to do, Marineland, the Aquarium in Monaco, boat trips and a lovely family friendly sandy beach in Mandelieu (30 minute drive although there are pebble beach’s nearby) not to mention the pool which was never overcrowded. The kids also appreciated being able to select english to whatch movies and tv. There is a supermarket nearby and a great row off shops along the highway which has a superb delicatessen, patisserie and wine shop. Anyone looking for a house near a charming hilltop town, without being isolated and has the benefit of being near the coast this Provencal villa would be difficult or impossible in its price range to beat. Thanks again for the use of your lovely property, The Anderson family xo

A Peaceful Sanctuary
We recently stayed for 2 weeks in the Domaine du Piol property and I have nothing but praise for every aspect of this rental. From our first contact with Sabyne, she was professional and courteous regarding the inquiry and deposit information (we used paypal) and maintained contact up to our arrival. The house and property are well maintained and have everything you could possibly need or want. The pictures on the website are accurate but I would say they do not do the garden justice - it is stunning! Every room in the villa has french doors that open onto the private yard and this enhances your living space beautifully. The pool is clean and was never so crowded that we couldn't get a lounge chair - and we were there in the peak of the August holiday season. Grocery shopping was easy as there is a huge Leclare supermarket 5 minutes down the road. Now I will add that the driving and the roads in particular in this part of France are not for the faint of heart. The road the villa is on leads to St Paul de Vence and therefore is very old and extremely narrow with blind corners. If driving on hilly terrain with no shoulders is not your cup of tea, this may not be the vacation destination for you. Once you are in the Domain, parking is no problem and it is very peaceful and quiet. Day trips to Nice, Mone Carlo and the beaches are all very easy from here - there is plenty to keep you occupied regardless of whether you are a shopper, a foodie or a sun worshipper. I would definely consider a return visit to this wonderful property.
