Flat in the heart of the old town

This is a fabulous flat in Blois old town - look one way and there is the Loire, the other way is the castle. It is the perfect place from which to explore the chateau along the eastern Loire valley. The flat is very comfortable, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. We had no trouble living there and enjoyed cooking all the lovely food we bought locally. A truly great holiday!

Bien situé mais meriterait une rénovation

L'appartement est parfaitement situé à proximité du château. Malheureusement nous avons essayé deux fuites de toiture dans la cuisine. L'appartement gagnerait a être équipé de serpillières et d'un bon coup d'apirateur sous le tapis côté salon. De plus le lave vaisselle était un peu fatigué (vaisselle pas vraiment propre après lavage) et la hotte un peu le même constat. C'est un peu dommage.

Right on the water

This apartment is surprisingly large for European standards which was great! Great location. Nice to have a dishwasher in the kitchen. I gave it four starts because parking is very expensive and tedious. There is no air cooling which is ok if you aren't there in the summer. We slept with the windows open which was fine although a little warm. But the bed was covered in bugs in the morning. They weren't biting bugs but it was a little distracting while we were sleeping to have them flying around. But the apartment was comfortable otherwise and super close to the Castle and dining.
