About this property

Your Luxury Condo On The Ocean - Where The Sun Sets In San Diego - Central Air

This is an ocean front condo we recently purchased that has never been available on the vacation rental market. We also own the property, in the same building, that is right next door that we started renting this year in July (VRBO/Home Away # 572846). We initially bought this property so we would have a place on the ocean to come with our children and grandchildren. Each property has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths as well as an adjoining hallway in between. What is unique to this property is, along with the 300 sq. ft. exclusive use ocean front patio, it has a private garden terrace to the back with barbecue. Two of the bedrooms have doors to access the terrace. These two bedrooms can be closed off from the rest of the condo for privacy. This property is perfect for two couples or family of four with grandma and grandpa.

After purchasing the condo, we completely repainted, put in all new carpeting and all new furniture. There are two masters, each with king beds and a third bedroom with twin beds.

Our place is located just minutes from SeaWorld, San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Downtown San Diego, Seaport Village and the airport. It is a short drive to Legoland and Safari Park.

The condo has a fully-equipped kitchen, central A/C, wireless high speed internet, wireless printer, CD player, DVD player and DVR. Washer and dryer inside the unit. There is underground side by side parking for two cars.

It is a southern CA classic....cliffs, rocks, beach and pier. Walk to all or view from your condo.

Beautiful apartment right on the beach

Check in was easy, and communication was good. The apartment is within walking distance to some great restaurants, coffee cafes, and bars. Parking was underground and easy. We have a large 4 runner but we went out of season and had no problem parking as not many other guests were there. The apartment was clean and well decorated. It came with both a Kuerig and filter coffee maker; however, no coffee pods or grounds were in the apartment so we went out for coffees. Bring your own if you want to stay in. You cant beat the location with beach walks just a minute away. We would stay again, and are thankful for the opportunity to have spend 3 lovely nights there.

Stunning condo!

Our stay here was at the end of a very busy 3 week road trip. One look at the view and we knew we wouldn't be going far! The condo was spotlessly clean and even had an electric kettle! (us Brits love a cup of tea!). We would have liked the use of a BBQ but there are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. We found it strange there was no garbage bin in the kitchen and had to use a trash bag and hang it from a door handle. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights relaxing here and would definitely come back again to explore San Diego a bit more!

Just call it Paradise

For 15 years that I’m used to travel from Belgium to San Diego, Our friends and us where exceptionally surprised arriving within the Ocean Beach condo. This property has every thing that you need to let you feel at home, even more. Image yourself being one of not so many lucky ocean beach costal renters/owner sitting on a terrace 30ft from the cliff with the ocean as master view. Every single day of your vacation with a glass of wine observing the sun disappearing below the ocean…. Simply amazing! Beside the wonderful location, inside the apartment everything’s have been done to help you a smooth stay, a lot of attention from the owner on some details you usually don’t find to other place. (Like excellent bed quality and soft quality linens, basic home supply, high speed Internet, 3 larges TVs) We where living 4 adults and 3 childrens, space was not an issue, the 2 families can find their privacy within the 2-separated area. Private parking for 2 car with direct access to the kitchen, make you life easy coming back from the store … Dona, the owner is a kind person, available if needed, all was clear with no surprise. Stunning ocean view

This gated property is situated directly on the beach above a gorgeous cove. The sound of the waves pounding on the beach is heavenly. We saw surfers, porpoises, and every kind of watercraft imaginable. We even watched a fisherman setting crab traps with their blinking red and blue markers. The sunsets were stunning with unobstructed views. Airplanes do fly over on their way out of the airport, but they aren't loud at all. The airport limits the hours they are allowed to take off so that there are no planes going over during the night. The patio area is relaxing and well-landscaped. As others have mentioned, the underground garage is a bit tight to manuver in, but it's good knowing the car is completely secure behind a locked gate and not accessible to the public. There were four people in our party. We were all very comfortable and agree we would definitely stay there again if we get the chance.
