About the property

Modern apartment close to the slopes

This comfortable apartment is located in a recently (2007) built apartment block in the

heart of Chantemerle (Serre Chevalier 1350 m): 40.5 m 2 on one floor with a balcony of

8.96m 2 . It comprises: 1 double bedroom, one bunk bed room, 1 bathroom with bath and

shower, a separate toilet, and a large living and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped

with a dishwasher, fridge, 4 plates hob with oven, and a microwave. There is a washing

machine in the bathroom cupboard. The living area has two sofas, with a TV and DVD

player, and the dining table has seating for six. We have finally given in and have wifi.

The ski lifts, shops, restaurants, bars, ski schools, etc, are all within 100 meters. There is

a garage for a small to medium car (Skoda Octavia Estate just fits!) There is a ski locker on the lower ground floor.

Great apartment, lovely views and perfect location

We stayed at the apartment on a cycling holiday. The apartment was absolutely perfect for this - large balcony to store the bikes and bike boxes, lift practically to the door of the apartment, underground car parking. There are loads of famous passes nearby such as the Izoard, Galibier, Telegraphe, Granon, Vars, Col de la Bonette, Alpe d'huez and Croix de Fer so it is a great location for cyclists. The town Saint Chaffrey is lovely - there are lots of restaurants and a great little supermarket. The bakery across the road was amazing and so handy for getting fresh bread in the morning. Apartment itself has all the amenities you need. We had a great time at the apartment.

It was just perfect!

This is absolutely beautiful, very well equipped, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean apartment in a perfect location - close to everything.

We have stayed in several apartments in Serre Chevalier and this one is by far the best. Thoroughly recommended and we hope to be back next year.

Superb location, all the facilities you'll need.

The apartment has everything you need and a great location. The owners couldn't be more helpful and the team managing are great too. They do get very busy on changeover day and the apartment might not be ready at 4pm, as we found, but we were in by 5pm so no complaints.

We managed to get our vw golf hire car in the garage just fine, but anything wider might be a squeeze.

As we stayed during half term we were expecting crowded lifts but the two lifts mean everything gets shifted quickly, and it wasn't too busy on the mountain.

We're sure to come again!

My fault re the 16.00hrs thing, I've realised that I've set the website up to say check in then when I realise that the team are very busy in the February weeks so I should have set it for 17.00hrs; apologies, I will change it now. Thank you for all the useful extra information which is so much more helpful when it comes from a guest. I do hope you all come back to Serre Che again and if you choose our apartment, you benefit from a 10% returner's discount ;-0)

Beautiful apartment in a wonderful location!

We enjoyed a fantastic week in this wonderful, clean, spacious and bright apartment in the best location - on top of the slopes, the ski school meeting place, the rental shops, the bakery, supermarkets and restaurants (many of which do takeaways!). Everything is provided for in the apartment and the owners and management company are lovely to deal with. We have already booked to return next year!

Best position ever

Amazing location, right next to the lifts and facilities in a lovely village. We (family of 4) stayed a week and it was great. Would recommend to anyone. The resort is one of the nicest we've been to as well.

Lift or stair access

Close to the restaurants, shops, and most importantly ski lifts and ski schools. Also in the summer close for walking, canoeing and mountain biking.
