Well equipped apartment in the heart of Kensington, close to shops and amenities. A large terrace which has sunshine all day. Good for outdoor living. Master bedroom has large fully fitted wardrobe. All beds fitted with quality bed linen.

There are at least 3 gyms which are walking distance away, who would welcome short term members. One has a swimming pool. The apartment has it own fron door on street level. It is a quiet neighbourhood street,safe and friendly with a villagey atmosphere.

Wonderful home base for our London vacation!

My husband and I stayed here in March with our two teenagers. A wonderful place in a convenient location. Yvonne met us upon arrival to familiarize us with the flat. When we discovered we were short tea towels for the kitchen and soap for the bathrooms, she had them delivered within an hour! It was very easy to access public transportation via the buses and the tube. We bought an Oystercard loaded with a 7-day Travelcard at the Londis store next door. We used both the (more frequently) High Street Kensington and (less frequently) Kensington (Olympia) stations nearby. Buses 9 and C1 were especially useful, with stops less than a 5-minute walk away. We shopped several times at the Whole Foods (near High Street Kensington station) and the Waitrose (a couple bus stops closer) grocery stores. The kitchen was well-equipped for the cooking we did. Having on-site laundry was wonderful as well. Thank you, Yvonne, for such a great place to stay at for spring break in London!

Satisfied all our needs

Yvonne was a perfect host. She met us at the apartment when we arrived (very early on the morning of our first day) and not only stored our luggage until we could get into the apartment, but she drove us to a wonderful cafe for breakfast. Even though the nearest underground was a brisk 15 minute walk, our children laughed about ending a sightseeing day in London with the walk home. Convenient to restaurants and grocery shopping.

Great place to stay in London

We are a family of 4 (with teenagers) and had a wonderful stay over Christmas in this lovely apartment. It's easy to get anywhere in London and is walking distance to Kensington High Street and Notting Hill, Holland Park and Kensington Palace. Yvonne was a great host - providing all the supplies we needed. Great place to stay for a family and would highly recommend!

Well located and equipped apartment in London

Stayed here with three friends. Yvonne was there to greet us and nothing was too much trouble.

Apartment was clean and very well equipped. We even managed to sit outdoors on the sun terrace for a short while on a sunny winter morning.

We very much liked the location and well served by buses. Tube station short walk away too.

Great cafes ( Phillies in Fillimore Gardens was fab)and we ate in local pub which we enjoyed.

Would highly recommend staying here and we hope to return.

Cozy rental in Kensington

We liked the unit, but probably would not rent again as the nearest usable Underground was at least 20 minutes away, and the real issue was the terrible noise from the water tank any time water was used.

Owner's Response: I am sorry about the water pump noise. It is possible to eliminate this by means of a switch, which should have been explained to you on arrival. It is there to give you extra water pressure whilst showering, it is not a constant noise and only audible when using the bathroom. There are actually 2 underground stations, one is Olympia which is a 5 minute walk and the other is Kensington High St. which is 10 mins. The bus stop is 2mins away. I will be sure to tell future guests the sometimes quirky features of the property. Never had a complaint before about this.

Lovely and convenient property

My teenage twins and I stayed here for a week during their fall break and felt completely at home. The property is clean and comfortable with all essential amenities. The location cannot be beat. It is in a quiet area but only a short walk to the train and the bus which will have you to Trafalgar Square in 30 minutes. Yvonne is quite responsive and very helpful with tips such as where to get groceries etc...We had no difficulty with the stairs, and it was nice having 2 bathrooms. We enjoyed the corner pub on two occasions after a long day of traversing the city which has a nice atmosphere. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend renting this property!
