Modern development completed Sept 2008. Venosc end of town next to Le Diable ski lift. Very quiet and breath taking views, close to supermarket, restaurants, bars, cinema, bowling and other amenities. Ideally located at the bottom of the slopes with stunning, unspoilt views of l'oisans. Ski to door with easy & quick access to ski lift (within 30m) & slopes for excellent skiing. Equipment rental shop and lift pass office within 2 mins walk. Warm, cozy and comfortable accomodation with all mod cons including TV/DVD player.

Meet and greet and departure cleaning service included with access to discounted ski hire, lessons, ski guiding rates. All can be arranged prior to your arrival in resort. Welcome packs available for simple arrival and linen/towel hire all available to make your stay as perfect and enjoyable as possible.

Great apartment, great location

We had yet another great week in this apartment. It suited our needs as a family of 4 perfectly and the location next to Diable lift was excellent. Generous bathroom with lovely powerful shower. The kitchen has all the necessary basics, TV and dvd player was fantastic for the kids when shattered and was great to be able to park the car right out at the front. We did feed back to the people managing the chalet that just a few small improvements would make this an even better equipped apartment: there were only 2 cereal bowls, tin opener was bent and didn't work, bottle opener was temperamental, wooden chopping board was in pieces, no light bulb in the spherical lamp in the lounge area. A suggestion to the owners would be rather than install a washing machine, some better thought out storage would help, the wardrobe in the lounge only houses the mop and vacuum but could be better used for that and guests if done right. All of this is simple to fix and in now way will stop us booking for next year! Thanks again for having us.

Basic, clean, compact, good location.

Really good location close to the Diable lift. We rented ski equipment from Camp d'Base which was 5 minute walk from the apartment and right next to Diable. Apartment would most comfortably sleep 3, was quite tight for 4 due to small bedroom, so had to put suitcases in the lounge. Shower was good and always warm, however bathroom sink was very slow to drain. I did highlight this but nothing was done about it. I forgot a towel and one was swiftly left outside the front though which was very much appreciated. Comfortable sofa bed in the lounge and kitchen facilities were good - small oven, 2 hobs, fridge, dish washer, microwave, kettle etc. We weren't met the morning we left as had been planned but there were no real issues. Would stay again but probably in a group of 2 - 3, although 4 was okay if you don't mind limited space.

Perfect Location

We stayed in this apartment for one week at the end of February. The apartment is on the ground floor and was, as stated, perfectly located for the ski lift, literally a short walk across the car park. It was also ideally situated for the village centre, again a short walk to the main street and all the bars, restaurants, supermarkets etc. The ski bus stop was also just around the corner. The apartment was clean, tidy, warm and well maintained. We are looking forward to staying there again next year. We enjoyed meals at various restaurants in the village and on the mountain and the food was very good.

Good stay in a pretty comfortable sized apartment

The apartment is divided into three separate rooms and is entered via the carpark area which is handy for unloading the car.

The first room is the sitting room and kitchen/diner which is spacious enough to be comfortable. The sofas appear to be able to be used as beds though we didn't need them.

The kitchen has a small oven which was very handy and there were plenty of plates, cups, pans and other related cooking and eating implements for the three of us not to have to run the dishwasher every day.

The next room is the bedroom which has a double bed with a single bunk over the top. The bed was a little uncomfortable but could easily be fixed with some wooden slats to support the mattress.

Finally there is a generous bathroom with shower. There is no bath. There is no washing machine but the plumbing is set up for one.

Overall I would be happy to stay there again as we had a good stay. It is very convenient for Le Diable ski lift and a 4 minute walk to Aalberg ski hire where we left our skis each day. The European Ski school is then 2 minutes further than Aalberg which was very handy.

great apartment

We recently returned from our stay in Les Deux Alpes and can honestly say the apartment gave us all we needed for our stay. It was spacious (there were only 4 of us though the apartment could have slept 7), warm, had all the kitchen appliances needed for self catering, had it's own private car park (which was scraped by a digger after a heavy fall of snow-so no worries about being stuck) and the location was perfect. Sure, it is at the end of the resort but that means it is quiet and being right next to a main lift meant we didn't have to trudge miles with ski stuff. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and supermarkets all within a few minutes walk. The view from the front door was stunning too, though we were a little confused when we arrived (very late) as we couldn't find the front door. Rather than going into the building the apartment entrance is outside with it's own little decking area which could provide an outdoor eating space in the summer. The shutter was down on the door to keep the heat in, but perhaps the number of the apartment could have been painted onto the shutter, as we had not been advised it was outside, and it would have been a lot easier to find. I would definitely recommend this apartment to family and friends for it's facilities, space and location-it suited us just fine. The only problem we encountered was when we had to check out. This had been arranged for 10am but the agent didn't arrive to do the hand over-we had to go looking for them. Luckily this wasn't a huge problem as our return flight was not until later on that day, but had we been in a hurry this would have been stressful. Don't let this put you off-it was a glitch on the day!

Spend a nice week!

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und auch mit 5 Personen genug Platz gehabt. Das Team Vorort war sehr entgegenkommend und das Appartement bei Ankunft sehr sauber. Lediglich fehlendes Internet trübte das allgemeine Wohlbefinden.

We felt very comfortable during our stay, and even with 5 people we had enough space. The local team was very forthcoming and the appartement was very clean upon arrival. Only the absence of internet let us down somewhat.
