Stunning views
Excellent location for exploring the Coigach peninsula. Stunning view from the living room window and you find yourself just sitting looking out at the Summer Isles and soaking it all in. The house itself is well equipped and has everything you need to have an enjoyable stay.

Fabulous home from home in stunning area !
Myself and spouse arrived with our dog in tow looking for some rest with stunning views , we were not disappointed! All you need to bring is your own personal items and food, everything supplied right down to cheese grater and matches. We brought our own towels but they were provided too! Well laid out property, clean with those little personal touches that makes it more like home. Did I mention the views ? From every window you have vistas over the summer isles, just as stated on line ! What wasn’t mentioned was the deer visible down to waters edge, and by deer I mean red deer with Stag, to hear him calling was fab and given we came to get pictures of stags in rutting season well, we were beyond delighted ! We did a couple of day trips , scenery was exceptional and given time of year weather behaved and w asn’t too bad ! Added bonus: no midgies. Special mention to Achiltibuie Stores, very well stocked pricing not that bad and very friendly lady behind till! Ian was an absolute delight, didn’t really see him, but again we didn’t go to be sociable, he explained everything from the wi-fi to power cuts, we didn’t experience any but were more than prepared. If , like us, your looking for a home from home, some rest, time to read, and just forget about everything then come here, cannot rate it high enough ! Thank you so much for having us Ian , hope to be with you again ! Oh and did I mention the views !!!!

If you are looking for a true Scottish highland experience, this cottage is for you!
Ian was an excellent, generous and a very attentive host. The cottage was very well equipped with everything and anything you need and more. The cottage was very clean, tidy and equipped with a lot of amenities. The view is spectacular, perfectly situated for people who love the outdoors. Ian gives plenty of advice and recommendations for activities and things to do in the area and provides a pack with maps and information about the area which was very helpful. There is a lovely restaurant called the "Fuaran Bar" where the staff are so kind and friendly, and the food is phenomenal (especially the steak) and there is also a shop near by that has everything you could need as well as fuel for your car. Lovely cottage, friendly and helpful host, fantastic community and a beautiful view all around you , what more could you ask for?

March break in Scotland
An ideal base for an outdoor break in the West Highlands. The birdwatching from the window was excellent and the antics of the neighbour's Aylesbury ducks always provoked a smile. The view from the decking was magnificent and a great place to sit and enjoy a beer after a day on the hill or the coast. The house was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need and the power shower was brilliant with loads of hot water. All the people we spoke to in the area were very friendly and helpful. We would certainly return for another visit. The local shop was well stocked for a country shop and the fresh salad from Achiltibuie Hydraponics was amazing. Tam Hilditch and Alice
