About this property

A new apartment in an old building completly restored. Air Conditioning. You dispose of six single beds that you can turn into three double beds of 1.60m x 2.00m. You are in the center of Lisbon, within a couple of paces from two of the most spectacular view-points of the town: Nossa Senhora do Monte (80 m) and Miradouro da Graça (300 m). The street breathes the calm of a small village, and though, all kind of shops, restaurants and transports are a few steps forward. The famous tramway nº28 which drives you to the main centres of interests crosses the street. From that hill, the highest of the capital, you can get to the lanes of Alfama, the castle São Jorge. A lot of restaurants are waiting for you, and they propose typical plates such as sea-food and grilled fish. You can eat eat in the neighbourhood for six euros per person, we have good restaurants to commend you. Welcome to Lisbon!

Small but immaculate apartment in great area, close to wonderful viewing points, bars & restaurants

High quality accommodation, nice decor, good beds with luxury bed linen. Owner was friendly and helpful. Lovely walk thru old neighbourhoods into centre - or take the wonderful old tram...

Home from home in Lisbon

Very comfortable, clean and well equipped apartment with plenty of space and all amenities. Extremely helpful and communicative owner, we were delighted with our choice of base. Large, well stocked supermarket just a few minutes walk away, smaller one right opposite the property. Buses, tram, taxis and tuk-tuks running nearby, so good access to city centre and sights. The apartment was modern and quiet with plenty of kitchen equipment; we appreciated the dishwasher and washing machine, and the lift, too. Everything we could need was provided, and Joao managed to organise a very reasonable private transfer at short notice on our arrival and departure as there was a taxi strike going on. Lisbon is a brilliant but tiring city, so we tended to have lunch out and dinner at home or in a local restaurant. This location proved ideal for our purpose and we are happy to recommend the apartment. Oh, and the views from the flat are fabulous!

The four of us so enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. The location is perfect with only a short walk to Tram #28. We were close to a wonderful coffee/pastry shop, Sago...Close as well to the grocery store, and a bread shop. The apartment is an easy walk to the Miradouro de Senhora de Monte look-out. The view from the apartment itself is amazing and we watched several lovely sunsets over the ocean from the living room. The apartment is large and well equipped. It was spotless throughout. The washing machine was great AND the air is so dry our clothes dried within an hour of hanging them on the rack provided. A/C in each room lets couples set temps individually. We did need the A/C at night. The elevator was much appreciated and was bigger than many others in Europe. The neighborhood was quiet....no issues with night street noise. We felt it was a very safe area. The owner, Joao was wonderful. He was at the apartment upon our arrival & took time to go over how to operate everything and answer questions. The service for pick up from and to the airport recommended by Joao was superb. The driver spoke excellent English and gave us a narrative of Lisbon's history and pointed out highlights as he drove us to the apartment. He was very friendly and welcoming. He also picked us up to go back to the airport. It was quite early in the morning, but he arrived 15 min early....so there were no worries about being late or not getting to the airport in time.....excellent service. We'd love to come back to Lisbon and would definitely stay in this same apartment. I can't say enough nice things about the whole experience. We thoroughly enjoyed Lisbon and the people we met.

Clean, bright and very helpful host

We had never been to Lisbon before and was so lucky to find such a good apartment we also arrived in a festival week so it was very busy with lots to see in the area with live bands and pop up eating places selling sardines. There are lots of places to visit in Lisbon and loads of places to eat. If staying for more than two days I would recommend getting a travel card for the bus and trams it works out a lot cheaper. We had a great holiday.
