Within easy access of all amenities yet quiet and very relaxing, the apartment consists of a good size lounge/dining area complete with very comfortable furnishings including a double size sofa bed, comfy armchair dining table with 4 chairs, satellite Lcd TV and DVD, selection of films, air conditioning, Hi-fi, power fan, heating etc. Twin bedroom with built in wardrobe, air con, ceiling power fan. New modern bathroom with walk in 'wet zone' shower. New, modern, fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, microwave etc.Balcony has a dining area with superb views of the sea and the large complex pool. Mature tropical trees and plants throughout the complex grounds provide an array of wonderful colours. A remote controlled gate allows access to the private car park. The beach is just across the road, 50 metres away. An excellent central location. There are 3 poolside sun loungers for your use.

Lovely seafront apartment

we stayed at this apartment for five weeks and we had excellent holiday the apartment has every think you need for a long stay the location is perfect close to the beach shops and restaurants.There is also a excellent pool and the views from the balcony are so lovely looking out to sea and we look forward to booking this apartment again as soon as we can because we think it is great value for the money

Had a great holiday.. the apartment was in a superb location, down a few steps and straight onto the front with a beautiful seafront walkway & lots of bars and restaurants..... would definitely use again.

Lovely apartment, very clean. Great facilities, fantastic location. Can walk everywhere for dining, etc. Would definately recommend and looking forward to going again. Tim was brilliant with his local knowledge of place to go and visit.

Great Location

Spent 3 weeks at this apartment in May. Lovely apartment. Everything you needed was there. Lovely, clean and very comfortable. Plenty of kitchen utensils which was nice .Bath room very spacious and a walk in shower with plenty of hot water. The beds were so comfy no problem sleeping at all. Ate alfresco on the balcony a few times perfect especially with the sea view. What else could you want. The pool we loved not busy at all and great to have our own sunbeds. All in all a lovely apartment. Would we go back ? You bet. We love Mojacar and the apartment was perfect for us. Thanks Tim Jan & Pete Haskins

Perfect Posistion

Tim's apartment is just as he describes it. You cannot get a better location for a stay in Mojacar. Guardia Vijia was built at the start of the Seventies and as such has one of the best locations on the Playa. The apartment is just right for two people, has all that you will need for a vacation and we found it comfortable.

We spent a month in the apartment and had no problems other than the loss of the UK TV signal. This was beyond Tim's control as a week before we arrived the signal was moved to another satellite cutting everybody off. There are a few ways of solving this and Tim is working to that end. We watched DVD's, there is a good DVD player in the apartment.

The property was clean and well presented and we had no maintenance problems at all. One tip is don't run the water too long in the shower as the hot water will be used up pretty quickly.

Tim was very helpful when we booked and called us a week before we left and told us about the TV problem which allowed us to take out a lot of our own DVD's. ( We took our car ) Parking is very good behind an electric security gate next to the apartment. We did not use the pool, but it is very inviting and well maintained and I imagine a great plus at warmer times. My wife did use the loungers at the pool to improve her tan!

Not only would we recommend this apartment to friends, but are considering returning ourselves.

There are a lot of good restaurants and bars very close to Guardia Vieja . We would recommend Torre Bahia, just outside the rear gate and the Los Arcos at the front. The Los Arcos is used by a lot of very friendly Ex Pat's!

Owner's Response: Thank you very much for your review and I am pleased that you had an enjoyable stay. Thank you also for bringing to my attention certain issues that I am now pleased to confirm have been overcome. 1. The shower - shortly before your stay the apartment had a service and the hot water cistern is always checked over. For some reason the setting had been changed to miser, so only giving circa 20 litres of hot water at a time. This has now been adjusted and is giving total capacity 50 litres hot water enough for 3 or 4 good showers before tank is empty and it needs to reheat, a process which normally takes about an hour. 2. The tv issue - I am pleased to confirm that this has now also been overcome at a cost of nearly 1000 euro. I have had a larger satellite dish installed which is capable of taking a good signal from the new satellite providing all the frees at channels. Taking this into account perhaps we will hear from you again. Jim from the cave Bar sends his regards.

Perfect Location, Great Apartment, Value for Money

I'm a big believer in first impressions. This Gem of an apartment ticked all the boxes within minutes of arriving. Location, tick, great for a leisurely walk to some fabulous restaurants, cafes, bars etc. The seafront not too much more than a long stone throw from the balcony. The beach, tick, it was even better than the sea view. The apartment, tick, well presented and lots of lovely home from home touches. Facilities, tick, a lovely big and most importantly clean pool. I would recommend this place to anyone, apart from the weeks I want to re-book. The owner (Tim) was also full of handy tips for days out and good quality restaurants.

LOCAL INFORMATION WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU UPON YOUR ARRIVAL. Mojacar Playa is a unique and unspoilt resort with no high rised developments. 9 km of blue flag beaches caressing the Mediterranean sea. Spotted along the beach you will find the most delightful beach bars. Young or not so young, there is something for everyone here, families, couples and singles. The resort is overlooked to the rear by the Sierra Cabrerra mountains which forms a micro-climate. Average of 320 days of sunshine are enjoyed each year. Wonderful Summers, very mild Winters are 2 ingredients that make Mojacar so very special. Nestling above the Playa is the ancient Moorish town of Mojacar Pueblo, with it's whitewashed houses and winding cobbled streets hiding superb bars,restaurants and small unique shops. The town is steeped in history and the character of the whole resort is abundantly reflected by the locals most of which speak fluent English and will overwhelm you with their friendliness and hospitality.

Other Activities: Weekly markets at Vera, Garrucha, Turre and Mojacar. Water park at Vera. Mini Hollywood, home of the Spaghetti Western, now a cowboy theme park
