About this property

Located in the mountains of Charo 800 meters. Valle de La Fueva, 15 minutes and 1 hour Ainsa Ordesa National Park.

It was restored in 2008, covers an area of 90 m2 including a terrace of 15 m2 and has covered parking, ideal for 2-6 people.

Highlights its traditionally built stone walls, stone slab roof fastened with scissors restored juniper, which are visible from the living room-kitchen.

At its upper floor has a lounge, kitchen and a bathroom and on the bottom a double single and a double bed.
It is ideal for walking around their surrounding forests, adventure sports, hiking and enjoy the traditional architecture and gastronomy Sobarbe.

Wonderful accommodation in a beautiful location.

The accommodation was lovely, very rustic, well maintained and exactly as advertised. Beds really comfy, plenty of hot water, heating if needed and a fantastic fire with ample supply of logs. Perfect place to stay if your looking to enjoy a peaceful break in the Pyrenees. Great for birding and sightseeing. Views are expectional. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. For us Brits who love a cup of tea a kettle would be a great addition to the kitchen!

Sehr authentisches Haus in ruhiger Lage im Hocharagon

Das Haus hat uns vom ersten Augenblick begeistert. Altes Steinhaus mit allen Annehmlichkeiten und tollem Balkon, auf dem man den Sonnenuntergang genießen kann.

Wij zijn in een ander huis terecht gekomen.

De eigenaar mailde een dag van te voren dat de verwarmingsketel kapot was en dat ze een ander onderkomen had geregeld: FANTASTISCH!!! Wat een goede instelling en zorg! De beoordeling gaat dus over een ánder huis/benedenwoning in een dorp vlakbij Charo. Achteraf waren we hier héél blij om: het huisje in Charo zag er wat somber uit (we hebben het niet binnen gezien); het dorp had ook een wat sombere uitstraling en het lag behoorlijk afgelegen. Misschien dat het in de zomer beter zal zijn. Het dorpje waar we terecht zijn gekomen heet: Morillo De Monclus. Hier was wat meer leven en lag niet zo ver van Tierrantona (dorp met een prima restaurantje en een leuk terras + een klein winkeltje en bakkertje. Maar nogmaals: Emerita van Mery la borda is een super gastvrouw, ook al zat het voor haarzelf tegen.

Our stay at La Borda de Mery

We spent our days of vacation in La Borda de Mery. It was a very beautiful time in an very nice location. It is an ideal base for touring the area with its surrounding National Parks. To find the property is no problem with a navigation device and helpful direction signs in Charo. The Property is like described, well-equipped, it's clean, quiet and in good conditions. We highly suggest going to La Borda de Mery! Peter S.
