This exclusive 1st floor (lift access) modern two bedroom apartment is located in the heart of Marbella just off the famous Ricardo Soriano 5 minutes walking distance to the beach and less than 10 minutes walk to Orange Square in the heart of the old town.

The apartment has been completely renovated to an extremely high standard. Free WIFI is also included.

It is part of a small purpose build block (12 apartments). It is a mix of permanent residences and holiday lets.

The apartment design is contemporary and great for those looking for a beach side break. Situated on the first floor it is west facing with floor to ceiling bi-fold, triple glazed doors that open up the living area to sunshine throughout the afternoon. An awning provides shade as needed. The kitchen has brand new, high quality appliances and is fully equipped with integrated microwave, fridge/freezer, electric oven, hob and dishwasher. A toaster and kettle is also provided and a washing machine is located in the utility area.

The kitchen, dining area and lounge is in open plan format which gives it a bright and airy aspect. There is dining and lounge seating for 4 guests. This area has air conditioning/heating and surround sound with a wide, flat screen TV/entertainment system. You will also find high speed internet connection (WIFI), English, Russian and German TV including Sky Sports and Sky Movies channels.

The two spacious stylish bedrooms which lead off from the lounge and the master bedroom feature a double bed, ample fitted wardrobe space, ceiling fan. The master bedroom benefits from an en-suite bathroom. There is a wall mounted hand shower attachment over the bath, WC and basin with vanity unit.

The 2nd bedroom features a double bed, ample wardrobe space and also a ceiling fan.

A second guest shower room is located off the hallway and features a modern shower unit, WC and bidet. The utility room behind, houses the washing machine.

This gorgeous apartment also boasts a communal swimming pool to be enjoyed by guests and which also has a children´s pool, a sun terrace and gardens.Pools can be enjoyed during the summer months, mid June to mid September. Opening and closing dates are dependent on the weather and any maintenance issues.

Residents in the block say if there's water in the pool, it's open - but this is not the official stance-.

There are 4 sunbeds provided for guest use along with beach towels.

The apartment is in the heart of Marbella where you will find a multitude of shops, from the local supermarkets to bars and restaurants within a minute’s walk from your door.

The beach is also located a short walk away, with the Marbella beachfront- and its beautiful marble promenade-. You can walk to the Marbella Marina and take the Fly Blue catamaran to Puerto Banus or cycle there, whichever takes your fancy.

Why Robin Andrews chose Marbella

We've been coming to Marbella for 30 years. It has so many benefits. 2.5 hours on the plane from Gatwick, half an hour transfer time to the town centre. Fabulous weather. There's plenty of street shade to deal with the sun. The pace of life is slow unless you want to rock all night, celeb spotting in Puerto Banus. Probably most importantly, the townspeople make you feel welcome. More so if you have children along.

The al fresco tradition of drinking and dining is alive and well here. The old town -Casco Antiguo- is the place for this, with its narrow cobbled streets and whitewashed walls in the Andalusian style.

On the beach if you hire a sun lounger within 100mts of a Chiringuito (beach bar/restaurant) you will get served where you sit/lie. How legal that is, is open to question but everyone seems relaxed about it.so hey....

What makes this apartment unique

This was definitely a case of love at first sight. We had looked at over 40 apartments over 6 days in 32C heat using a car with no air conditioning. This was the last but one on our list. The seller's agent was so exuberant when we met him at the gate and obviously proud of the place. Me, I was wilting in the heat. I was not really expecting much but the shared sun terrace and 2 pools (adults and children) made me take notice. It was November and people were swimming and sunbathing!

The wow factor came when we entered the apartment. I really did say "Wow". Porcelain floor of light marble effect, down the hallway to the sun filled, open plan living area with the kitchen. The agent told us all the windows and bi-fold doors were triple glazed. He pronounced triple like it rhymed with trifle....

As all windows were closed it was deathly quiet. He demonstrated the electric shutters. It was black as pitch. Great for sleeping as we found out, with the air con set.

With bi-fold doors open and the awning parked high, the heat of the sun combined with the sea breeze turns the living area into a private sunbathing space. The WiFi and entertainment system with its surround sound was in place when we bought it but we added the satellite TV with the SKY sports and Movies. because want to make this a place people will return to and that means looking after, and listening to our guests.

Location wise it is spot on. 3 blocks to the beach and just a leisurely 10 min walk to the old town. Nobody walks quickly in Marbella anyway, its almost banned.

The apartment was only one of two which ticked all the boxes. We bought both.

Most people feel relaxed within hours of arrival. It's a Marbella thing.

In the immediate vicinity there are 2 big supermarkets and some great bars and restaurants. We have a list in the apartment for people to try if they want and we'd love it if guests would add to it.

There's is a bike/scooter/motorbike hire shop about 150mts west along Ricardo Soriano. 1 large supermarket 50mt away. North across Jacinto Benavente, up some white steps about 50 metres to the east is a sports park. Tennis and other sports available here. South toward the beach, a multitude of bars and restaurants. To the east, a 10 min leisurely walk finds you in the Casco Antiguo with Orange Square. Try dining in Los Noranjos in the square. Explore the narrow cobbled streets with the Andalucian architecture and whitewashed walls. drink in the atmosphere. Enjoy, relax.

Perfect!

We made a last minute decision to visit Marbella (escape winter!) and booked a 2-week say. We had a bunch of questions and Robin was very quick to respond and provides plenty of detail, which we really appreciated! The apartment was perfect! It meet all of our needs;

- we did not want to rent a car (didn't need one!)

- we needed reliable wifi for work (worked perfectly!)

- we wanted to be walking distance to the beach, groceries and restos (check, check and check!)

- we wanted a modern, comfortable apartment (YES!)

This place was perfect. The location is ideal and the apartment is equipped with everything you need. We opted to have Robin/Lisa arrange for our pickup at the airport when we arrived, given jet lag and we don't speak the language. It was a little costly (85 euros) but well worth it. We were met by a super driver who dropped us at the door, where Lisa was waiting for us. She showed us around, explained everything and made herself available 24/7, which we didn't need but when we did have a quick question, she answered immediately. We took a regular cab back to the airport (70 euros). Having lived in the apartment for 2 weeks, done groceries on a regular basis, walked all over Marbella, taken the the local city bus, I can say this apartment was a gem. We are pretty fussy people and we were happy from start to finish! We will be back again and are already planning our next visit!

Great location!

Great location. Lovely apartment, comfortably furnished and well equipped. Numerous restaurants very close by. Close to beach. Walking distance to everything plus city bus stops within a block to take you to Puerto Banus and other areas. Great place.

Great location....but that's all that can be said.

Robin, the owner, was helpful in offering tips for the area. Lisa, the property manager was very accommodating and helped make our stay special. The apartment is cute and in a great location for easy walking to the beach, Orange Square, and restaurants. However, the dishwasher did not work and the washing machine left laundry soaking wet, with no dryer available. We were not informed of these issues prior to leasing the apartment or we would not have stayed here. Additionally, we were charged a portion of our deposit because we had left dirty towels in the bathroom. We were not informed that we would be required to wash the linens prior to departing. And it was unreasonable to charge us when the washing machine did not work properly. These inconveniences did not lend to a relaxing vacation.

The noise of the elevator can disturb sleep, as well as the sound of the door leading out of the building slamming shut. Being unfairly charged for the dirty towels is something future patrons should consider before choosing this apartment for a vacation.

Owner's Response: This is a difficult one. A somewhat unfair review I think. The facts are that somehow, access was gained to a secure cupboard where stock of fresh linen and towels are kept. Despite our providing a full set of towels for 4 guests even though only two attended, these fresh towels were also used. The washing machine was in perfect working order and the outside daytime temps were high during the week so washing could dry in the sunshine anyway. For some reason, both beds and the inflatable bed were used. The inflatable bed was left in a heap on the floor after the guests had left. We only charged our out of pocket expenses for the excessive towel use. We did not charge for the additional cleaning costs incurred.

The apartment is great and quite modern. Excellent location, just a 3-5 minute walk to the beach.

The property is modern and really nice. Very well provided for with all modern appliances. The fact that there is access to English speaking TV stations was really great because we could follow the main news stations that we follow in the UK, along the girls favourite TV series. Having access to a shared swimming pool was also a great plus - we sat around the poolside and took dips in most of the days through the heat of the day.

The location of the apartment is excellent - accessible to the old town with its great views and antiquated architecture; the beach front and the great variety of restaurants there; high street shops; and a supermarket.

Marbella is an absolutely adorable town. The views are stunning - from some vantage points one could see the hills/mountains provide a backdrop to the fantastic rows of apartments while on the other side all you see is the coastline with blue waters and people having fun in it.

We took a boat ride to Puerto Banos and I would encourage anyone visiting Marbella to take the trip - fantastic views.

Walking the stretch of the promenade at Marbella is something we couldn't get enough of. The cool sea breeze; the smell of cooked foods coming from the many restaurants there.

It was really a great holiday.

Apartment faults.

The apartment is in a fantastic location, literally 5mins walk from the beach and 10mins to the Old Town. The apartment block is just off a very busy road so, obviously there is some traffic noise. Unfortunately we had a few issues with the apartment. The security shutters on the main double windows broke and couldn't be repaired. It needed to be totally renewed and as it was impossible to do so with us there, we had to go a week without them. We also had a major electrical fault on the apartment fuse board which burnt the panel door!! An electrician had to be called out at midnight to repair. Our agent was superb however, and responded to each situation as best she could. As lovely as Marbella is and as much as we tried to overlook the property issues it did spoil our holiday somewhat.

Owner's Response: Hi Lee Thanks for your review. According to Lisa, her attention was drawn about the shutter on Saturday and an engineer arrived promptly that day. He said it needed a major fix. He came back on Monday and removed the entire unit (which has now been replaced). She also told me the faulty fuse box was drawn to her attention at midnight one day and this was fixed by a qualified electrician within half an hour. I suggest these are good responses in unfortunate circumstances. Better than I get in London..... We are of course very sorry about these unforeseen problems. I am flying in next week to go through everything with Lisa and her team and see what we can learn from this. Kind regards Robin

Amazing accomodation and location

My friends and I had a fantastic stay in Marbella. The apartment was clean and had everything we could have wanted. Lisa who was our contact for the week was fantastic and answered all our questions straight away. The apartment is an ideal location to walk to Marbella marina and the old town and only a 10 minute bus ride from Puerto banus.

The Fly Bue Catamaran ferries people from the Marbella Marina to Puerto Banus. It's a half hour journey and good fun. Rock music and beers (the latter at a price). You can also walk along the promenade to Puerto Banus. It's 6km but flat. Get a beer at the marina and watch the wealthy preen. See the odd celeb. Early birds can visit the street market which winds its way up toward the bull ring. Buses run every 10 mins or so if you are too tired to walk back. There are also taxis and bicycles for hire. The night life for party goers is in Puerto Banus. Marbella town is more sedate. Wealth is everywhere but more understated in Marbella town. It's quite a small place so impossible to get lost but there is so much history to see and admire. Watersports too.

Pretty much whatever takes your fancy.
