Spacious 1 bedroom apartment sleeps 4 persons comfortably.Very central location

The Library apartment is in a secure building which was once home to Stirling's Library. It is a beautiful stylish apartment with lots of original features including high ceilings and window shutters. Secure entrance in a courtyard with a lovely restaurant and Tapas bar. Really a wonderful location for a short or long visit to Glasgow

Sleeps 4 persons with 1 bedroom and a sofa bed in lounge. Full kitchen and bathroom. Centrally heated and all amenities including free internet.

Bang & Olusen Tv in the lounge and a wall mounted Tv in bedroom. DVDs and hi fi system too. Everything you could want for a true home from home included.

The location is amazing. Right in the heart of the city but deceptively quiet in a road with no through traffic. Shops just yards away and you can so easily get to anywhere without a car.

A truly fantastic apartment in a wonderful central location.

About Ronnie Green

Retired living in Worthing West Sussex. Glasgow is my birth city and we bought the apartment to allow us to enjoy visiting Glasgow and to also offer the unique opportunity to visitors from home and abroad to have a home from home. It is comfortably furnished and as we vsit as often as we can we make sure it has every amenity we as travellers would expect! My family still live in Glasgow and look after it for us so we are in a very lucky position!

The location is just amazing. You can go anywhere so easily. Yet it is still comparitively quiet despite its city centre position.

All in all it has everything we need for our own trips to Glasgow.

What makes this apartment unique

The historic significance of it being once the home to a lin=brary that I remember using in my earlier years and its unique central location made me know it was the perfect fit for a property in Glasgow.

Beautiful apartment, central location.

We stayed for four days in this lovely apartment. It was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for getting around much of Glasgow. There were two drawbacks. The apartment is above a street popular with weekend party people, and the noise on Friday and Saturday nights was loud and long, well past 3 am. Also, the key pick up at a separate location was a minor annoyance. Overall, we loved the apartment and enjoyed our time there.

A Nice Place , Centrally Located, A Little Crowded.

This is a nice place and the owner was very responsive to our needs. Although small it has a good assortment of furnishings and other material to help travelers. There is a fair amount of street noise but the combination of good windows, a fan (white noise) and the provided disposable earplugs helps a lot. My main feeling about this place is that it needs de-cluttering as there's too much bedding (half of the small closet in the bedroom is taken up with extra bedding and the living room has a couple pieces that are just not needed. But, overall, a good place to stay - most especially if you want to be right in the absolute center of Glasgow and convenient to the bus and train stations.

Owner's Response: Thanks Roger. The apartment actually sleeps 4 using the sofa bed in the lounge. Hence the extra bedding and furniture chests for storage. We provide a lot of amenities to make it a home from home which is a good size especially with the high ceilings and the large sash windows. It is certainly as you say in a fantastic location.

Well appointed and lovely apartment, and nicely located!

We've stayed in many vacation apartments in Europe, and this was one of the absute best! Comfy and quiet, and the Ronnie the owner is a real gem of a guy! So close to so many things- George's Square, Argyle Street shopping, Buchanan Street, and one of my favorite places on all the world, The Counting House restaurant/bar! Glasow is a truly great city, and this wonderful apartment made the whole trip perfect. We will be back- highest recommendation!

A wonderful Glasgow rental!

We loved the Library Apartment! It worked perfectly: the location is great, the owners easy to work with, and the apartment contained everything we needed (& more!). Other than a bit of street noise, which is to be expected in an urban environment, we wouldn’t change a thing.
