This newly converted south-facing 3 bedroom condo with an open living and dining area provides bright and spacious accommodation for the discerning visitor. Two bathrooms (one en-suite) plus a further cloakroom/utility room, air conditioning, wi-fi and television all makes for comfortable living. There is also a sofa-bed in the lounge which can be used for additional registered guests. There is a terrace leading off one of the bedrooms and a patioed garden for outdoor enjoyment. Just 3 minutes walk from South Kensington Underground station and close to the museums and the bustling outdoor restaurants and cafés that abound in the area, it is ideally located. There is a gymnasium just 3 doors away and the street and the surrounding area of Brompton Cross are peppered with upmarket fashion houses and other great shops.

Convenient and lovely

Our family of five (2 parents, 2 children + grandma) stayed for five days just recently. The location was convenient to the South Kensington tube station and we felt very safe. We could get just about anywhere we wanted within 10-20 minutes via the tube. There are a number of family friendly restaurants, grocery stores and museums nearby. The flat is large enough that we could each find our own space. We cooked breakfast most mornings and the kitchen had everything we needed. Sonja and Neville are lovely. We enjoyed chatting with them and really liked the fact that they live on-property. They kept an eye out for us and were always available to offer ideas and tips. We would definitely stay here again.

Pleasant Stay

The location can not be beat. The condo has been renovated and is spacious and bright. Some of the provided items could use a bit of an update, but nothing too major. All in all, we had a pleasant stay.

Very Nice place

Worked out great for the 5 of us. Close to S. Kensington station which was a plus to jump around the city. as other have mentioned apartment backs up to train tracks. but after a day of exploring your so tired you don't hear it. Very Nice people live in Apartment below and are very attentive your needs if you have any. We would stay again.

Feeling like a Londoner in the Heart of Kensington

What a pleasure it was to stay in Sonia and Neville's property. Everything was exactly as advertised and as pictured - more than enough space for my family of 4 adults. We stayed for two weeks, and this really felt like our own home to come to after a busy day of site-seeing. The location is just unbeatable - about two blocks from the S. Kensington tube station with access to three tube lines. Plus, the Natural History Museum, and the V&A museum (both must-sees) are also just 2 blocks away. A Sainsbury's is a very short walk away, and we purchased most of our groceries there, but for the times when we did not want to cook or go to a restaurant, we also took advantage of the sandwiches and salads at Pret A Manger, just across the street from the tube. There are SO MANY amazing restaurants - we never could have tried all of them (though we particularly loved Muriel's Kitchen, Wright Bros Seafood, and of course Ben's Cookies). Sonia and Neville met us on our first day and give us a tour of the property and how to use the various appliances, and they were so friendly and helpful and made us feel more like we were neighbors than tourists there for a holiday. I've stayed in many Home Away properties, and this experience was one of the loveliest we've had - my entire family had a spectacular time.

Great hosts and great location!

Close to tube and many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Visited the Albert and Victoria Museum (very close) and Harrod's. Sophie and Neville even left us a bottle of wine and fruit bowl as welcome gifts. They were so supportive when our daughter had to be hospitalized in London. The apartment is very clean and comfortable.

Comfortable condo in a great location

We enjoyed this Condo very much. We traveled with our daughter, son-in law and two grandchildren and found there was plenty of space, so we weren't bumping into each other. When we arrived, the place was sparkling clean and the kitchen was stocked with milk, cereal, bread, and plenty of fresh fruit . There was a nice bottle of wine awaiting us as well as some good English cheese. The owner was out of town but there was a friendly and capable substitute who explains how things worked and how to get around.

This is a bout a block from the So Kensington tube stop with the Picadilly, Circle and District lines all there. The neighborhood is great with near-by museums, Harrods, plenty of coffee shops (Paul's has great coffee and pastries) and lots of ethnic restaurants and Pubs . We especially recommend the near-by Polish restaurant and the Hereford Piub.

This is a very family-friendly apartment and we love to see kids enjoying themselves at the many attractions that abound nearby. It was a pleasure meeting them on our return just a couple of days before they left and I have to say what a pleasure it was. We'd love to have them back again any time!

The area of South Kensington is the most vibrant for tourists with or without children with lovely paved areas around the station and museums full of life and restaurants. South Kensington station which has three different metro lines have a direct connection to Heathrow airport with the Piccadilly line and lots of buses and connects directly to many train lines. You can also walk to Knightsbridge (Harrods Harvey Nichols and many designer stores, or even to the west end should you love walking
