Villa at Antheor - Stunning Esterel views, steps from the beach, pool

A super villa, with stunning new bathrooms and air conditioning in all of the bedrooms. South facing with lovely sea views and the beach is two minutes walk. The style is modern, sunny and fresh.
All bedrooms are on the first floor with all of the ground floor being the living and dining area. There is an open fire, very comfortable sofas, flat screen TV and indoor dining table for up to 8. Kitchen is semi open plan and is fully equipped with electric oven, gas hob, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Clothes washer+dryer are housed in a small utility room upstairs.
The kitchen, living and dining areas all open on to a large, very sunny terrace - with teak dining table and chairs to seat up to ten people. There are electric shutters and an awning if the heat gets too much! Pool is 6m x 4.5m and is surrounded by a teak decking with plenty of room for sunbathing.

Featured on A Place in The Sun: Our villa was filmed in July 2008 for the Channel 4 program, A Place in the Sun. The program was aired on Channel 4 on 29th January 2009 and is available to view on their website until 29th February. Our villa is the first one featured.

Everything we needed and more

On arrival, we were met by the owners representative who communicated with us throughout our journey down, ensuring he was there promptly on our arrival. He showed us around the property, which was very spacious, very clean, well-proportioned and had fantastic views of the sea. The property was located a few minutes’ walk from the beach and also the local shop, bar and restaurants. The upper bedrooms all had sea views with three of the rooms having access to the balcony. The outside seating area had an awning which proved very helpful with the midday sun. The pool, although on the smaller side, proved to be very popular with the children. Overall, a lovely villa and one which we would happily return to.

Excellent stay for families. This is not modern (at least 20 years) hous with unusual and attracive architecture, very specific detail - instead of dull and boring plastic windows here you will find classic wooden window frames. The hous is full of modern equipment: kitchen is compleet and clean, air conditioning in all rooms sufficient, wifi of good power (online games on several dievices and movie sumultaneosly). Indoor and outside spaces are vell prepared for all kinds of activites, from lasy meal to active games in swimming pool or ground, theare are even a place for pétanque with compleet set of balls. Privacy is exceptional: the street is a branch of costal road to the sea, there are only few hoses on the street, two of which are empty, street ends a private rocky bay with exceptional conditions for snorkeling. In the back of the place is Esterel reserve, where we met (15 minutes driving) the family of wild boar and two foxes, our chidren regulary fed them with delight. Thanks to owner and to maintanence team!

Wonderful villa with beautiful sea view

We spent a wonderful week at this villa in July. The villa was well equipped and in a great location, a stroll to the beach. The villa manager was a pleasure to meet. Highly recommended.

Villa Irene

Villa Irene, Thank you! Had an absolutely fabulous holiday, weather was gorgeous and accommodation was definitely top notch. Plently of living space, fantastic views from the bedrooms and the bathrooms were very luxurious couldn't ask for anything better. The villa was very well kept, very clean and the outside area was lovely. It was great having BBQ's with the family and the kids enjoying the pool. The villa is a stone's throw away from the beach which was very handy and just a sort 20 minute journey to Agay. Will definitely be back! thank you :)

Villa Irene antheor

Myself and family visited villa Irene in may 2011. The villa is well maintained and very clean. There is a great view of the bay from the bedrooms and balcony. A visit to Cannes film festival was only 45 mins away.Beautiful beach and resteraunts A day trip to monte Carlo casino was 2 hrs away and an amazing experience. The pool at the villa was great during the day as it got pretty hot .great view over the bay from the decked/pool area. Antheor beach 2 min walk away is sandy and safe. Overall a great holiday and hope to return in the near future.
