The house is sanitized before each guests arrival and after each departure. The use of the swimming pool is exclusive for our guests only.

Villa with private pool in Ghizzano, near Pisa and Florence. The house is spread over two floors on a 250 mq area and it can host up to 9 people.

Outside the house, at your disposal: a beautiful veranda with BBQ, a large garden and a wonderful swimming pool.

Close to Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano and Florence.

In the heart of Valdera, a fascinating land full of history, "Tenuta San Carlo" offers a large house surrounded by uncontaminated nature and a property of about 100 hectares of enclosed land.
The house, restructured in 2007, is spread over two floors on a 250 mq area and it can host up to 9 people.

At the ground floor from the veranda there is a wide living room with a welcoming fire. Close by is the kitchen, as well as a children's play room.

The wide kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, oven, refrigerator and big stove; adjacent to the kitchen you can find the pantry and the washing machine. At the first floor there are two large rooms each with a double bed, two bedrooms with two twin beds, and another bedroom with a single twin bed, totalling 9 beds. Furthermore there are 2 bathrooms with shower, another one with shower and bathtub and a forth accessible bathroom for people with disabilities.

Much recommended

This villa was in a fantastic location. Wr wete a large family group, all adults and it offered lots of space. The views were amazing. Piol area was good but not enough sun beds. This is a small concern in the latger picture. Although the are on site, they offer lots of privacy. The villa was fantastic. We would highly recommend it. Thank you to Sandro and family, the hosts.

A beautiful villa and location

We booked this villa over a year ago for a special family holiday. It lived up to all our hopes. There is so much space around the property. Sandro was very helpful and replies promptly to all my questions. We were a group of 6 adults and 1 grandchild and there was plenty of room for us all. The villa is decorated in a traditional Tuscan/Italian style. The three bathrooms meant that each couple had their own privacy. The villa is situated in beautiful countryside with view on every side. There are some steep slopes to the edge of the garden, so perhaps not ideal for very little children. The pool is amazing and is kept very clean, it is fenced in and is a very safe area. We were at the villa for 2 weeks and really enjoyed our time here. It was hard to leave the villa to visit places! The village of Ghizzano is nearby and has a friendly bakery.

Fantastic location, the host Sandro was so helpful as was Lisa who can cook you a meal if you want..

Everything was so peaceful and nice.. The views and sunset whilst having dinner outside were amazing...... Shops and places to visit are so close....The pool and accommodation was great... Evan a golf course 10 minutes away. Will be back for sure.

Large villa in a perfect location with stunning views.

We stayed here for 10 days and it just wasn't long enough. Naturally we wanted to see the sights but we could have happily spent the whole time sitting on the terrace or relaxing and enjoying the pool. Tenuta San Carlo is in a great location with stunning views across a valley to rolling Tuscan hills. It's close to a small village with a bar/grocery and a bakery. The "must see" places are all within easy driving distance. The house has plenty of space for a large family or two. We were four adults with three children and used three bedrooms, the children wanted to be together in one room. This left two double bedrooms unused, enough for four more people. The terrace is large and ideal for enjoying al fresco dining. A couple of tips - if you fly in to Pisa on a Sunday as we did, the Lidl store in Ponsacco is open Sunday to 8pm and is on the way from the airport. If you're looking for an excellent meal at a reasonable price try il Morso at Terricciola about 25 mins away. We all had a great holiday here and would happily recommend San Carlo to anyone wanting to stay in the Tuscan countryside.
