Cénac-et-Saint-Julien is a commune of the Périgord noir located at the edge of the Dordogne, at the foot of the bastide of Domme, eleven kilometers from the town of Sarlat-la-Canéda and eighteen kilometers from the town of Gourdon.

It is close to tourist places such as Castelnaud-la-Chapelle, Beynac, La Roque-Gageac, the Château des Milandes and the gardens of Marqueyssac.

Lovely gîte!

Lovely gîte in a very quiet location. The children loved playing in the pool and watching the cows in the field. The property was very clean and well equipped. Remember to bring sheets and towels. The owners were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location and good facilities

The cottage was well equipped and spacious. The pool was lovely and kept my 3 teenage children occupied for most of the two weeks. The location is beautiful and there are lots of places to visit. Domme and Sarlat are both lovely. Did some walking around the area which was stunning. Lots of hills. Only slight criticism would be the WiFi which was weak at times.

Tranquility

Clean, tidy, well equipped. Wasn't expecting the bed to be as comfortable as it was; we slept so well. Such a quiet retreat, time to recharge and relax. Great cycling around the area through the walnut trees (we brought our bikes with us). Olivier and Christine were great hosts. Would definitely recommend as a quiet retreat at the start or the end of the season, and incredible value for money. Cannot fault it

Excellente adresse

Accueil très sympathique. Situation idéale pour visiter la vallée de la Dordogne. Gîte au calme et bien équipé. Très propre. Il était trop dans la saison pour tester la piscine mais nous avons apprécié la grande terrasse avec vue sur la campagne. Vraiment impeccable.
