Secluded house in lemon grove

Check in was great. Marie was so friendly and accommodating. Accommodation was perfect for the two of us. In a quiet location but an easy walk into Sorrento. A couple of really nice restaurants 5min walk away and a couple of supermarkets again 10minute walk. House was equipped with everything we needed. We even managed to sit outside a couple of times. We had a lovely stay.

Pretty apartment on the outskirts of Sorrento

Lovely little apartment on outskirts of Sorrento. Maria was a helpful host, easy to get hold of if you needed her. We loved our stay and would recommend to anyone.

Fairly basic but fine as a base to see Sorrento if you don’t mind the steep and busy road into and back from town without pavements and the Italian drivers!

Spacious and comfortable

This was a beautifully clean and spacious accomodation with everything you would need. The 1 bed house was ideal for my wife and I and is located only a 10 minute walk from Sorrento old town,which is the tourist centre. The road to the town is quite steep which would make it difficult for someone with reduced mobility.. The owner,Maria Laura,was very helpful and upon our arrival gave us some very good ideas of what to do and where to go.

Good apartment for the price

Maria was really helpful beforehand and answered my queries promptly, which is always a good sign. She picked us up at the station and stored our luggage on our last day and delivered it to us at the station in the afternoon. That is really good service. The apartment is a good size and was well equipped, including fly screens on the windows. The bed was very comfortable. It is a bit old fashioned, and some of the fittings in the kitchen are not sparkling new but don't let that put you off. It is a good base at a reasonable cost in an expensive tourist town. in terms of the location, the apartment is less seaparate than i exepcetd from the details, as there is house/ flat attached behind and above it. this does mean that you hear a bit of noise from people clattering on the tiled floors etc: this is extremely common in Italy, as is the number of barking dogs. In fact, for Italy it was quite quiet and secluded. The setting is pleasant, despite apartment blocks being close by together with some workshops, the overall impression is of greenness with lemons all around. You don't have free rein around the garden but there is a pleasant sitting area with table, chairs and deckchairs. The walk into the centre of town is not too far, although it is uphill to come back. Just be aware that there are no pavements on part of the route. Overall a good choice if you like a bit of space and greenery and are on a budget. And Maria is very helpful.
