3 double bedroom, 2 bathroom fully furnished Villa with a lovely communal pool on Euro Roda in Los Alcazares. Located a stones throw for the main Plaza with a host of bars, restaurants and shops and a short walk to the local beautiful beaches of the Mar Menor.The property benefits from outdoor space and a large roof terrace with a barbecue ideal for private sunbathing and relaxing. There is also a terrace off the main bedroom. Lounge is equipped with TV with British channels and also WIfi and air conditioning. Towels and linens provided.

About Pauline Williams

Hi, my sister Sandie and I along with husbands Mark and Steve purchased the house, affectionately known as ‘Bluey’ in 2007.

Because of its prime location, near to bars and restaurants and the beautiful sandy beach, (there are no high rise) it has been widely used by our friends and families leaving little time for renting.

We still love to come to the house and will continue to do so but as the families have grown and have busy lives, with the help of Owners Direct we have decided to rent out the weeks when we are not in Spain.

As you can see from the photos, the house is well cared for and with a lovely shared pool which includes a baby area, which makes it an ideal location for a family holiday.

We will be glad to give you any more information you may need.

Comfortable, well laid out, clean, good outdoor space

The property was perfect for the whole family, the 3 double bedrooms were all a good size and the beds were comfortable. The air con was a god send and the allowance was ample for the length of our stay. The shared pool was a hit with all of us too, our 2 year old would have spent the whole trip in there if he could!! The outdoor space was a welcome bonus on the warm evenings. Location wise the property is close to supermarkets and also to a good selection of bars and restaurants, and is only a short drive from the airport. The main town square is also only about a 15 minute walk and has an additional selection of bars, restaurants and shops. The property manager was very helpful and gave a good tour of the property on arrival which was handy. We will certainly look to stay here again in future, the whole process from booking the property right through to the end of the holiday was smooth and communication with the owner was easy when needed

The property is spacious and has great outdoor space on the ground floor, the main bedroom balcony and the roof terrace. It's slightly further from the town than I had anticipated but given the warm weather in April the walk to the town was pleasant. There are supermarkets within easy walking distance.

The lady who managed the property was very pleasant and helpful, spent a good time explaining everything we needed to know.

I would definitely stay there again if I wanted to stay in Los Alazares

Stayed August 2016 for two weeks. Home from home, air conditioning in every room was fantastic. Lovely pool just a couple of houses away. Property manager very helpful. Had a lovely relaxing holiday. Many Thanks.

A property with room for the family

Pauline's blue house was a short drive from the beach and airport. It was too hot to walk to the beach but in cooler seasons could be done.

The property was clean, air conditioned, well maintained and close to lidel (fresh bakery) and consum grocery.

Staying at this property you feel like you're living in a small community with nice pleasant neighbors.

We particularly liked eating outside at night after cooking simple Mediterranean dishes.

The only negatives are the distance from the sea and if you like sleeping with the windows open the road noise of the motorway in the distance.

Would I stay there again? yes for sure. The restaurants are walkable at night and the tapa bars are delightful! Go for an explore as you will be delighted with what you discover . Thank you for your hospitality Pauline !

Like home away from home.

"Bluey" looks simply lovely and homely from the outside and you won't be disappointed when you're inside too. It has such a welcoming feel to the place. All the facilities are there that you would have at home so it really is great for doing your own thing. Pool area was immaculate with beds and parasols so very good if you have children with you. We spent a lot of our time on the sun roof terrace. Again lovely both day and evening.

Location is great being only 5 mins from the airport. There are restaurants and bars only a short walk away in the square which is nice and seemed to be plenty going on. We were there to relax so targeted the back street quieter Spanish bars and restaurants. Found myself a lovely little coffee shop for my morning coffee. Lovely local people.

Would definitely recommend this property. Thanks to Pauline and the family for allowing us to stay.

What a property! You will not be disappointed. 2 minute drive from airport, very close to local amenities, 2 mins from local golf course, swimming and bathing pool is very clean, air conditioned throughout, house has 3 floors with 2 very clean bathrooms, TV with satellite, Wi-fi, fully furnished throughout,

The town of Los Alcazares is completely unspoilt and ideal for good family holidays, bars, restaurants, banks, supermarkets / shops are all close by so there is no need to hire a car. San Javier (Murcia) airport is only 5 minutes away by taxi. The Mar Menor is famous for its golden beaches and beautiful clear water and is only a short walk away. Its also a golfers paradise with many top quality courses nearby.

Coast/beach

Five /ten minute walk to superb beaches where you can enjoy a bathe in clean warm shallow salt water. Very safe for children. Alternatively you may have a walk along the promenade or sit at a beach bar and enjoy a drink/meal/tapas. Boat trips are available most days, jet skis/pedaloes maybe hired throughout the summer months.

Travel

San Javier Murcia airport is 5 minutes by taxi. Car hire is readily available but not essential as all necessary amenities are close to hand. Also the area is very flat and a mecca for cyclists.

Distances

Cartagena is 20 minutes by car, the city of Murcia is one hour by car and La Manga is 25 minutes by car.
