Impeccably clean bungalow in nice area just a stroll from the beach and village centre.Well equipped and roomy excellently managed and cared for by John who provided excellent and prompt customer service.Would recommend highly to any friend or relative.Loved the daily walks to the beach and the visit to several of the village cafes off the village green throughout our stay.

Confused

  • 5 of 5

As the title suggests I am totally confused by some of the bad reviews . Our stay in the cottage was wonderful. Everything was beautifully clean . All the things which we were told were not provided were there waiting for us. Milk biscuits cleaning materials, tea towels toilet rolls. After long days exploring the countryside we were snug and warm and cosy in seagull cottage. Our only reason for not staying there again would be because we saw all that we wanted to see I see absolutely no reason for not recommending this cottage to anybody else.

Lovely

  • 5 of 5

Arrived at this lovely cottage which was immaculately clean with nice little touches milk and chocolates all ready for a nice cup of tea in the conservatory. The garden was very secure for the dogs and nice and quiet. My 80yr old mom, dogs and myself often took a lovely short stroll to the beach which was through the a variety of shops catering for everything. We absolutely loved the beach and the dogs were able to run at their hearts content no matter what time. All in all I would highly recommend this holiday everything was perfect from the cottage to the shops to the beach we were sad to leave but we do very relaxed and will definately return.

Thank you

Lovely property

  • 4 of 5

Nicely decorated spacious property, ideal for a family. The conservatory was lovely first thing in the morning, with the sun shining through (even in February!). The main bedroom is really big and again, was lovely first thing in the morning with the sun shining in. A great property for the warmer months, don't think i will use it out of season again though. There were a few niggles - the first major one was the electricity - we stayed for 4 nights in February and obviously needed the electric heaters on because it was very cold, it cost a lot of money and we had them on as little as we could and we were out all day too! There was supposed to be £10 in the meter on arrival but there wasn't, so we had to go straight out to top the card up to make sure we would be ok. I couldn't get the heater to work in the kitchen so it was always freezing in there. The instuction picture says that the meter is in the conservatory, it isn't, it's by the front door! Nowhere did it say how the hot water worked, so at first we didn't know if we had any as we did not seem to be able to get any to come through, but by morning it was ok. It would be really helpful to have a chest of drawer to put your bits and bobs on in the twin bedroom, or a wardrobe as there was nowhere to put our clothes apart from a tiny set of drawers by the beds. It would be really nice to have a dressing table in the main bedroom too, as there was nowhere to put make-up, hair stuff etc..We weren't sure if we were supposed to clean or not before we left as i couldn't find much cleaning stuff, so i did my best with what was there.
