Beautiful cottage in rural location with village pub 15 minutes’ walk. Open fire, riverside location. Two dogs welcome. Bowness-on-Windermere 5 miles.

Bumblebee Cottage is a superb, riverside, end-terrace cottage in the pretty Lyth Valley, less than a mile from the village of Crosthwaite, near Kendal and can sleep seven people. There is a king-size double bedroom, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom, a ground floor shower room, a kitchen with dining area, a utility, a sitting room with a woodburning stove and a snug. Outside there is off road parking for one car with additional roadside parking, lockable bike storage and front and rear gardens with raised beds and terraces with garden furniture. Bumblebee Cottage is a wonderful holiday base. Amenities: Gas central heating with open fire. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, 2 x TV (one with basic Sky, one with Freeview), DVD, CD/sound system with Bluetooth, laptop for web browsing, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate available. Off road parking for 1 car with additional roadside parking by front garden wall, on a first come first served basis. Lockable bike storage. Front and rear gardens with raised beds and terraces with garden furniture and BBQ. River at the end of the garden, approx 30 yards from the house. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile. Note: 4 steps in front garden and 4 steps in rear garden, each with handrails. Note: Due to the riverside location and garden steps, ensure children are supervised and care is taken.
