Luxurious 4 bedroom Victorian villa comfortably sleeping 10

The property is immaculately presented; beautifully decorated in stylish neutral tones and boasts many original period features, including original fireplaces with log burning stoves, decorative plaster work, high ceilings and box bay windows with ornate glass etching.

The accommodation comprises of an impressive, spacious lounge with marble fireplace, log burner and large square bay window. This room is a wonderful place to relax in with comfy seating for up to ten guests. The fully fitted breakfasting kitchen has everything needed for a comfortable stay: dishwasher, double oven, microwave and gas hob. The kitchen is open to the dining/family room where a large table can easily seat ten people. The wood burning stove provides both warmth and a welcoming focal point in this room.

Also on the lower floor is a large family shower room with cloakroom hanging space. There is also a separate utility room with washing machine, tumble drier and freezer.

On the upper floor, where the attractive cupola allows light to flood into the hall, the master bedroom with super kingsize bed is of grand proportions and boasts a large square bay window and en suite shower room. There is a further bedroom with zip and link beds which can either be 2 x single or super kingsize and a double bedroom.The fourth bedroom is a single with bunk beds and there is a family bathroom with bath and over bath shower.

For a small additional charge a sofa bed can be requested to accommodate an additional two people. Please request on booking.

The rear garden is accessed down a set of wooden steps which lead from the decking directly outside the kitchen. This small decking area is the perfect place to sit with a coffee, catch the sun and overlook the tranquil garden. After a busy day’s sightseeing, guests can enjoy the enclosed rear garden with the use of extensive garden furniture and a BBQ.

Bookings during summer are 4 nights minimum, 7 nights at Christmas and 3 nights minimum at other times.

Absolutely gorgeous house. Arrived in the snow. House was very cozy and with the wood burning stove on and a view of Stirling Castle it was truly magical! Beautifully presented.

BEAUTIFUL home and Great Location

Perfect for our large family group—comfortable bedrooms, nice, modern bathrooms and kitchen, incredible views out the windows of Stirling Castle and private backyard garden. Couldn't have been happier with the layout and ability to walk into town and to Stirling Castle!

We also rented their downstairs apartment, The Courtyard, which was perfect for all our family members.

A Victorian home in the center of Stirling

An ideal home base for exploring the areas around Stirling. It is a short driving distance (20-30 minute drive) to some stunning sceneries. It is situated in a quiet and charming residential area, which is a short walking distance from the shops, restaurants, supermarkets and the train station. The proximity of the train station means you can also visit Edinburgh and other cities from here. The home is comfortable and spacious. It has a beautiful garden with tables and chairs and grill if you wish to have a backyard barbecue. We had a bit of a problem with the downstairs shower, but then we took it as part of the adventures of travel.

    At end of your stay, the refundable breakages/damage deposit is refunded onto the card used to make the balance payment. Please ensure that this card is valid beyond your departure date to enable this refund. Failure to use a card valid beyond departure date will incur bank charges to process the refund to International bank accounts.



    Please note that if your booking is placed less than 6 weeks before arrival date full payment plus the relevant amount of refundable breakages/damage deposit must be made on booking.



    BY BOOKING AND MAKING PAYMENT YOU ARE ACCEPTING THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT/CANCELLATION :



    Deposit, security payment and payment



    1. A 50% non refundable deposit has to be made by you on booking. This is to secure your booking and represents a booking that will be fully confirmed on receipt of the remainder of the rental fee .

    2. Confirmation of the booking will normally be made to you within 48 hours of receipt of the payment.

    3. Full payment plus the relevant amount of refundable breakages/damage deposit is required 6 weeks prior to the rental period. If you have ticked the repeat payment option to allow us to take the balance payment from the card used on booking, this payment will automatically be taken 6 weeks before arrival date. E mail confirmation of the payment will be sent out.

    4. If a booking is made less than 6 weeks prior to the rental period, full payment plus the relevant amount of refundable breakages/damage deposit is required to secure the booking.

    5. A refundable breakages/damages deposit has to be paid with the balance payment 6 weeks before arrival date. This is to cover any breakages or damage whilst staying in the apartment. It will be returned after the rental period following a complete and satisfactory check of the inventory and property.This can take up to 7 days to show in your account.

    6. Full details of how to get to the house and where the key can be collected will be sent to the person making the booking after full payment has been received and no sooner than 6 weeks before the date of entry.

    7. The owners reserve the right to cancel the booking if payment is not received by the due date.



    Changes to the booking dates



    1. Any change can be made to the booking (subject to availability) before 6 weeks with no charges. However changes may be subject to necessary changes in rental period charges

    2. Any changes to bookings made with less than 6 weeks to booking are made at the owner's discretion and subject to necessary changes in rental period charges.

    3. All changes made with less than 6 weeks to the rental period are subject to a standard charge of £50 or currency equivalent.



    Cancellation Charges



    The client may cancel the booking at any time after it has been confirmed.

    Cancellation must be made in writing.

    Cancellation charges are as follows

    Less than 6 weeks – loss of total rental value, however refundable breakages/damage deposit will be returned.

    More than 6 weeks - loss of 50% non refundable deposit made on booking.



    Please Note: if the owners are able to re-book the cancelled dates, all rental monies paid will be refunded minus a 20% administration fee for each portion of nights rebooked, irrespective of when the booking is cancelled.
