This bright, Modern apartment has been refurbished to an exceptional high standard to create a perfect base for an ideal relaxing holiday & excellent location to explore the costa del sol.

Why Denis Slattery chose Sitio de Calahonda

I have visited this area of Spain for many years & have looked at many properties with a view to renting for holiday lets only. It is an ideal base & at the heart of exploring the Costa Del Sol coastline, & also the apartment is directly FRONT LINE ON THE BEACH, making it a truly relaxing place to stay.

I Bought the apartment in September 2015 & completely refurbished it in January 2016, to a high standard,. It has a new fitted kitchen with built in hob, microwave, with oven & grill,Fridge Freezer & washer . It also has new air conditioning, and all the usual items to make your holiday feel like home from home.

Great location and very quiet

The property is very clean, modern and has everything you need for a great break. Yolanda collected us from the airport and was so kind and helpful, she went the extra mile to ensure we had a great mini break. Communication from Denis was also very quick and helpful. Thank you to you both.

Great location,apartment,and hosts

The apartment was as advertised. Lovely pool in gardens and great beaches. Denis and Yolanda were perfect hosts offering transfers. Many restaurants and a supermarket nearby. No car needed if you just want to relax.

Estupenda ubicacion y estupendos anfitriones!

Nos alojamos en este apartamento durante 7 noches en el mes de Julio 17. He de decir que tanto el propietario como Yolanda fueron encantadores y amables desde el primer momento. Nos pusieron todo tipo de facilidades. Nuestro vuelo salia a ultima hora de la tarde y Denis fue tan amable de dejarnos hacer uso del apartamento hasta la hora de salida hacia el aeropuerto. Sobre el apartamento:

Aspectos positivos:

La ubicacion es perfecta para acceder a supermercados, farmacia, restaurantes y demas. Un paseo de madera paralelo a la franja de playas te permite caminar hasta Playa Luna - a 15 m. Mas alla uno tiene que caminar o bien por la playa o por detras de las urbanizaciones si quieres llegar hasta la marina de Cabopino.

Hay una parada de autobus a 5m que te permite visitar otras zonas cercanas como Marbella o Fuengirola.

El apartamento estaba muy limpio, con mobiliario bonito. La cocina pequeña pero dotada de lo necesario para desayunos y comidas sencillas. Esta en una sexta planta y desde alli las vistas a la playa y el mar son fantasticas. El edificio pese a ser muy grande es tranquilo, apenas se oyen ruidos ni voces del resto de los vecinos.

Justo debajo del apartamento hay un modesto,pero bien atendido, bar restaurante - Bellavista- muy recomendable para comer o cenar a un precio muy ajustado.

Aspectos negativos:

El apartamento se oferta como totalmente reformado pero no es cierto. Le han dado una lavado de cara a un apartamento antiguo. Con buen gusto,pero no deja de ser una capa de pintura, muebles restaurados y detalles modernos. Sin embargo la instalacion electrica, fontaneria y demas no lo son. El tener la nevera enchufada en uno de los baños no nos inspiraba mucha confianza. Los desagues necesitan un repaso urgente y una de las bañeras ya nota el paso del tiempo.

Sin embargo, Hemos sabido que este apartamento sera proximamente reformado por completo, lo que incluira cambio de cuadro electrico, fontaneria nueva etc, lo que lo hara realmente mas competitivo

El edificio tiene una zona de jardin con piscinas que esta bastante bien mantenido, con zonas de sol y sombra para las horas mas calurosas. Sin embargo no hicimos uso de ella ya que hay solo 3 hamacas. Como este es un apartamento de playa seria un detalle contar con la posibilidad de alquiler o uso de unas sillas plegables de playa, para poder usarlas tanto en la playa como en la piscina.

swimming pool clean and quiet

when the boardwalk is finished all 7 miles of it it will open up more opportunities

to visit other bays without going back up to main road which I can honestly say was the only downfall in my opinion

lovely English café under appt perfect for brekkie if you don't want to cook
