This unique place is situated in a private property of 30ha, in the quiet village of Troviscais approximately half an hour’s drive from beautiful golden sandy beaches and close to pictures fishing villages and beach towns such as Vila Nova de MIlfontes, Zambujeira do Mar; Porto Covo, Sines and many more.
This country cottage sleeps up to five people, ideal for families or groups of friends. Vast gardens ideal for al-fresco dining where one can sip a glass of local wine by the plunge pool in one of our garden hammocks or relax on one of the sun loungers. Also perfectly safe for children or pets to run and play. Casas da Cerca can offer you a choice of onsite activities such as bird watching, canoeing, fishing, horse riding, cycling, and lovely walks in and around our village. How about a romantic with a river view, or a visit to the windmill, one of the last working flourmills in the area? Pets are very welcome and may sleep in the house with you if you wish.
Casa da Adega it’s a T1 with a maximum capacity of 5 people, being on the ground floor the kitchen, a complete WC and the dining room.On the second floor stays the bedroom and the living room. Besides de double bed in the bedroom Casa da Adega is also equipped with a sofa-bed for two persons and a single bed that can be put anywhere in the house. If requested a cot can be provided.Casa da Adega is equipped with linens, bed sheets and blankets, plates and kitchen devices, microwave, washing machine, stove, fridge and water heater. Have also TV and DVD. Near the house there is a tank (3,0x2,5m), private of the house, that can be used for refreshing bathes outside.
The Southwest Alentejo and the Vicentine Coast Natural Park, where The Cerca Houses are situated, is the part of the Alentejo facing west, confined by the Atlantic Ocean. Its length with more than 100km of sea coast extends from Sines, in the north, to Burgau, in the south (Algarve). The Southwest Alentejo and the Vicentine Coast Natural Park is the best protected European coast line in terms of unique species of fauna and flora, therefore being visited by many zoologists and botanists from all over the world. Another kind of rarity are many species of birds and also otters, being the only place in Portugal and one of the last in Europe where it’s possible to find them in a sea habitat.
The beaches all along the coast are another of the big attractions, being much requested for the practice of water sports, and are considered as the best in the country.
Casas da Cerca is a kind of a retreat place. You can get in touch with the silence here in a way you thought it didn’t exist anymore. It’s perfect also for outdoor events in connection with that silence.
