Ideally Located Apartment With Easy Access To The Local Amenities And Racecourse

A converted ground floor barn that sleeps 5 which has been tastefully furnished offering a snug and warm atmosphere. This delightful self-catering holiday let is nestled in the South Lake Peninsula within Cumbria.

Like most properties within the historic village, The Old barn Apartment has a typical stone cottage style appearance with exposed beams to the ceilings and deep recessed walls.

The Old Barn Apartment is ideally located just off the village square at the gate entrance to the racecourse with views from the kitchen over the racecourse and also the village hall.

Unfortunately, we do not accept any pets.

We welcome mid week breaks, long weekend stays as well as catering for the full weekly lets.

DO NOT PAY ONLINE, WE ONLY ACCEPT CHEQUES OR BANK TRANSFERS.

Beautiful place

The old barn is absolutely stunning. Everything you could want in a place to stay. the surrounding villages have all you could want and many places to eat. Would highly recommend the old barn. X

Great facilities, lovely apartment

Really impressed with the appealing decor and cleanliness of the apartment. The furniture and beds are really comfortable and the kitchen is extremely well equipped. The location is great in the lovely village of Cartmel, a very short stroll to several great welcoming pubs. A really lovely place to stay in a great Lakes location. Can't wait to go back!

Excellent accomodation and location.

The accomodation is excellent, very clean and well looked after. The kitchen is very well equipped. There were 5 adults staying and we all had plenty of room. Parking was not an issue. The barn is very central. The owners replied promptly to emails. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Home from home - excellent location

This is an excellent apartment which felt more like staying in a home than just a rental property. Very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Excellent central location in Cartmel - very close to racecourse and all the lovely pubs and restaurants which Cartmel has to offer. Peter the owner was very helpful throughout the booking process and the village access pass we were sent for race day was great - we enjoyed a trip to the races during our stay which was very enjoyable too! Thoroughly recommend this property and would definitely look to stay here again. Thank you.

Wonderful apartment in a prime location

We've just returned from a fantastic weekend in Cartmel! The apartment is immaculate with everything you need for comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location is one of the best for the racecourse and all the village has to offer. Peter and Tina have been very helpfully throughout the booking process and our stay. I cannot recommend this gem of an apartment enough! I will definitely return for another visit.
