Why Emma Wallace chose Chichester

All the furnishings have been carefully chosen to allow guests a holiday with comfort and relaxation in mind. From the king-size double bed to the large walk-in shower, guests can unwind before planning their days out relaxing on the beach, sailing or swimming in the sea, or just cycling and walking on the numerous footpaths that criss-cross this part of West Sussex. Why not take advantage of the owner’s large garden and breakfast on coffee and croissants to the sound of birdsong. Nature lovers will delight in discovering the Medmerry and RSPB Reserve which is less than five minutes’ walk away, whilst watersports enthusiasts have the choice of a variety of activities that pepper this part of the South Coast. Bracklesham beach is a mere 30 minute walk, where you can relax to the sound of waves, beachcomb for local fossils or watch the windsurfers battling the elements across the bay.

Chichester is only six miles away with its many restaurants, shops, museums, Cathedral and theatres, whilst the world-famous Goodwood is just nine miles away with its motor racing circuit as well as the horse racing festival which takes place every July. Lovely peaceful retreat

  • 5 of 5

2 of us stayed at Little Greenways for 2 nights and found it a really relaxing and comfortable property. Being a studio apt. it is of course small, but thoughtfully laid out and doesn't feel cramped. I really appreciated the little touches left by the owner such as a welcome note and a basket of toiletries for anything you may have forgotten.

The bed is very very comfortable! Visiting in the summer, if you find it hard to sleep on sunny early mornings, you might want to bring an eye mask. Not an issue for us but the room does get very light once the sun is up.

The surroundings are lovely and we made use of the seating in the garden one sunny evening, behind the property is not overlooked and you can watch the sunset.

We didn't come with a car and it is quite possible to get around if you are happy walking 45 mins ish to Bracklesham, from where you can get the 52/53 circuit bus to the Witterings and Chichester. For a longer stay we would drive and explore more of the area.

“The owners of Little Greenways were very welcoming and helpful, our dog was made very welcome too. The large and secure garden was perfect for our dog. The property and all of the equipment feels very new and works well. The owners lent us their own booklets of local walks and places of interest, which we were very pleased about and made good use of.”, February 2016
