The Area

The Sea Senses complex is located at Punta Prima, approximately 5km south of Torrevieja. A busy and lively area, with many bars, restaurants and shops. There is a Consum supermarket just 1km and a large Carrefour supermarket just 1.8km from the complex.

La Zenia Boulevard, one of Spain’s largest outdoor shopping malls, is approximately 5km from Sea Senses.

Just a short walk and you have one of the best restaurants in the area. At the Nautilus restaurant and bar, you can relax and enjoy either a drink or a meal with the Mediterranean sea literally lapping at your feet.

If you prefer a simple beach bar, the great little SunRise Café and Bar is right outside your door. Here you can enjoy a coffee, or a glass of your favourite drink, sitting right amongst the sand dunes – it really has to be one of the very best locations of any beach bar in Spain.

The Apartment

The apartment is located on the 4th Floor (5th if you include the ground floor), with stunning views over the pool area and the Mediterranean. It is 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment, with open lounge, dining and kitchen area, and is brand new for 2016, with new appliances and equipment throughout.

Absolutely fabulous apartment on an amazing complex!! Miami chic indeed!!

Just returned home from an amazing stay at this apartment in Sea Senses resort and I have to say I was blown away by the whole experience.

The apartment was absolutely 5 star, the facilities were equal to any 5 star hotel we usually stay in across Europe. To have facilities of a hotel with all the benefits of brand new, fully fitted apartment is just perfect when travelling with a young baby as we were. Long lazy days around the pool and swim up pool bar finished with cosy nights in relaxing on the balcony was just what we needed with a little one on board!!! Sleeping arrangements for 8 months old baby was no problem, quality travel cot supplied in the apartment.

The local bars and restaurants were authentic and relaxed, a really chilled atmosphere, with the location being right on the beach, the fab beach bars were just enough to visit both day and night!

We felt really looked after by Stacey, who manages the accommodation from a local place, she was fab right from the start, offering advice on places to go to and arranging transport when landing in Murcia. Great to have such local knowledge right at the end of a text!! To be welcomed with a bottle of champagne and food package gives that extra touch, which is well received at the start of any holiday!!

Our apartment was everything we hoped for and the real thing did not disappoint one bit, the pictures on the site are a true reflection of what's in store during a stay here! Really looking forward to our return to the apartment next year!!!

Nice accommodation as described; facilities under-provided relative to number of units

Apartment is nice, as it appears in the photos etc and is new hence in very good condition etc.

Communication before and check-in/out was good/efficient, and it was nice to have some provisions such as coffee, bread, loo-rolls etc rather than 'cupboards-bare'. Having emptied the bins and bagged up our refuse I was somewhat taken aback to be told to take my refuse out to the bin in the street before leaving, but bit my tongue as we obviously have a different idea of what my fee for cleaning the apartment covers! No matter.

In my view however, I believe the grounds & facilities are under-provided relative to the accommodation. We stayed for a week with a weekend in the middle, which seemed to be a changeover as one might expect. It was mid-summer so fairly busy. Units are still being marketed so not yet fully occupied. We were never able to get the provided sunbeds, so towels on the grass. I could no doubt have done by doing the towel thing early in the morning but the basic problem is simply not enough available by a country mile. Not the most comfortable & relaxing way to spend the day. Because there is much concreted area and little grassed, the grassed area was very busy, so cheek-by-jowl.

There is no beach at this location, so nowhere else to go (other than Punta Prima beach, too far away to easily pop back, so out for the day).

Lastly, a wristband system has had to be introduced, apparently because non-eligible people were using the facilities hence overloading use. Unfortunately these are one-size-fits-all bands and they kept falling off my young daughters' wrists in the pool as they were too big. The system wasn't enforced, anyhow. So we were charged for replacements. The price was reasonable, the owners didn't attempt to 'gouge me' out of the deposit so I respect them for that, for being fair but it's not really what I was expecting.

So, overall the apartment and development is indeed 'Miami chic', but the experience in the outside facilities a bit too 'Costa Blanca' for the relatively high price which rather spoiled the anticipated experience overall. Not the most relaxing or comfortable.

Outstanding Apartment .

We had a fantastic week's break at sea senses .The Apartment is top quality . Everything you need is supplied .

The owners gave us instant replies to any questions .The pool area is really clean and tidy .There are plenty of local pubs ,supermarket's etc close by .

Highly recommend for relaxing getaway .

We hope to return in the future .
