The cottage has three bedrooms across the ground and first floor, with two the upper bay windows giving stunning views across the harbour. It can accommodate up to six people. The sitting room looks out over the working harbour, while the kitchen and dining area face the private rear garden with views to the Lake District from the upper landing.
From the patio area, steps take you up to the raised garden terraces with views across to the Lake District. Its an ideal place to relax and unwind with a drink or to eat al fresco.
The local hotel & restaurant is just yards away along the harbour where the flurry of the daily catch is loaded onto the dockside. The cottage captures the essence of a traditional seaside atmosphere in a beautiful, historic area.
Enjoy kyaking,walking and cycling along the stunning coastline. Take a fishing trip or try one of the many golf courses that can be found within a short drive.
A superb Isle of Whithorn house offering something for everyone. An ideal base for the Wigtown Book Festival events. Home to the St Ninian and the earliest Christian settlement in Scotland the local museum is now home to an re-constructed iron age Roundhouse.
An added bonus is that guests often take the ferry to Ireland for the day or more from Stranraer which is abot 30 miles away.
