Lovely cottage
This is a beautiful cottage - we enjoyed the patio on a sunny day and lay on sofas reading books while it poured with rain on another; with the fire lit, it was cosy. Nice to be able to do short walk to Addingham from the cottage and many places and walks a short drive away. The owners live next door, but were unobtrusive (as were we!)

Charming cottage and hosts
Jane and her husband were fantastic hosts; letting us know all about the local walks. The cottage is really comfortable and homely - lots of nice touches - there was even a Christmas tree up. The kitchen is really well equipped, lots of wood for the fire and comfy beds. You can do great walks from the house. Many thanks for a great stay.

We purchased the cottage 9 years ago and have run it as a holiday let since then. We have lived next door for over 30 years and love this area.
We did have an antique and restoration business but have recently retired.

Why they chose this property

The property is next door to where we live, so we are always on hand for our guests. However we do try to afford as much privacy as they may require.

What makes this property unique

Exceptionally pretty cottage, dates from 1790 and has all the things you would expect, mullion windows, log stove, beams.... but in addition a modern kitchen, fabulous shower, a lovely patio with fabulous views (back and front) fabulous views . Great walks from the door. Within easy reach of Ilkley (5 mins by car), set in the heart of the countryside.
