For the summer season, week or weekend (minimum two nights), the "Chez Grand Père" facility is located in the peaceful and welcoming Municipality of Fénis. In a strategic position to reach the main tourist attractions of the valley, the structure is 15 minutes from the capital (Aosta) and as many from the casino and the Saint-Vincent spa. For mountain lovers, the cable car that leads to Pila is only 15 minutes away by car while the other side valleys (Val d’Ayas, Val di Gressoney, Courmayeur, La Thuile, Cervinia) can be reached in less than 50 minutes. A few km from the property is the resort of St. Barthélemy where an important Astronomical Observatory is located and from where several paths leave for beautiful walks. In Fénis and the surrounding area, in addition to skiing even in summer (Cervinia), numerous tourist / sporting activities are offered, excursions (on the Municipality website you will find the list of excursions and in the images the route to follow), food and wine routes beyond visits to museums and to the wonderful and fascinating Medieval Castles of the Aosta Valley, in particular that of Fénis which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The apartment consists of a kitchen complete with dishes and appliances (dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge and kettle), a kit for basic necessities (sugar, salt, oil, vinegar, coffee, tea, herbal teas), living room with flat-screen TV plate, books of various kinds and booksharing corner (with various guides and information material on the Aosta Valley), bedroom with double and single bed (possibility of a cot), bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Bed linen and towels are included in the price such as heating, electricity and gas. Excellent accommodation & hospitality!

The accommodation was fantastic. Very clean and had everything provided that you could possibly want. Christina and Erick were lovely and looked after us superbly., even picked us up from the motorway to show us the way! We would like to thank them very much for a wonderful experience. We will be coming back very soon. The village itself is charming too with 3 or 4 restaurants and bars within a few yards of the accommodation. Overall idyllic suroundings and fantastic people who tried very hard to understand us. I will be learning Italian for our next visit!
