About this property

The cottage is an old stone cellar renovated respecting the oléronnaise architecture. Located in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages of the island (hollyhock, alley, stone house, ...), the accommodation is only 300 m from the sea.
southwest-facing, the accommodation comprises a spacious living room with fully equipped open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, hood, fridge, gas cooker, fridge / freezer).
On the ground floor you will find a room (double bed with cupboards), bathroom (walk-in shower, toilet, sink).
Upstairs there is a room (3 single beds and dresser) and a bathroom (sink, toilet).
The house has a private courtyard of about 25 m2 with barbecue and garden furniture.
Saint Pierre and Cotinière are just 4 km and you can get there by bike bike paths. 200m from the accommodation you will find a bread, a scoop, a newsagent and a gourmet restaurant.

Located halfway between the northern tip (Chassiron) and the southern tip (Maumusson) Oléron island, the cottage is the ideal starting point to visit the island during your stay.

We will offer you a personalized welcome and provide you with reading and documentation on the dOléron island.

Ressourçant

L’endroit est très reposant. Céline la propriétaire, très accueillante et chaleureuse. Et de bons conseils. La végétation est variée et très belle. Location de vélo et navettes estivales nous ont permis de vadrouiller dans l’île. Ce sont deux belles alternatives à la voiture. C’était une bien belle semaine.

location tres agreable

nous avons passer une tres agreable semaine dans un calme total ! le gite tout de pierre et de bois est vraiment magnifique et tres spacieux. Mme denieau vous recoie avec sourire conseil et courtoisie et avec un sympathique cadeaux d'accueil a deguster sans moderation ;) je vous conseil sans hesiter cette location

Location spacieuse et agréable à vivre

Séjour du 29 mai au 11 juin 2016. Nous avons trouvé notre location conforme à la description de l'annonce. Elle est située dans un village très calme proche de la plage. L'appartement était très propre, l'accueil chaleureux par madame Céline DENIEAU qui nous a offert quelques spécialités de la région. Elle nous a conseillé sur les visites de l'île, les restaurants dont un (gastronomique) près de la location: "saveur des iles" que nous avons beaucoup apprécié..... Nous recommanderions aisément cette location à des parents ou des amis. Cordialement G.MONTAZ-ROSSET

Super séjour!

C'est une très jolie maison typique, entièrement et magnifiquement rénovée, située dans un hameau très calme (sûrement un des seuls de l'île en pleine saison), et à 2 pas d'une très belle plage. Les chambres sont spacieuses, très confortables; celle du haut convient très bien pour 3 enfants ou 3 adolescents. La grande pièce du bas, qui regroupe une cuisine intégrée parfaitement équipée et le coin salon permet de bien se reposer entre 2 ballades! Les sanitaires, prévus pour des personnes handicapées, sont bien par définition très pratiques. Contrairement à de nombreuses locations de ce prix qui ne misent que sur le côté fonctionnel sans âme, il y a de vrais meubles; les murs de pierre à l'intérieur contribuent au charme des pièces du rez-de-chaussée. Par ailleurs, et ce n'est pas toujours le cas partout malheureusement, pas besoin de refaire le ménage dès notre arrivée, puisque l'ensemble était d'une propreté impeccable. Enfin, il faut noter l'excellent accueil de madame DENIEAU, qui outre le petit cadeau d'accueil (dont une bouteille de ce très bon vin blanc sec local), a eu à coeur de nous indiquer toutes les activités et visites à effectuer sur l'île. Nous ne savons pas si nous reviendrons un jour à Oléron, mais si c'est le cas, c'est avec grand plaisir que nous reprendrons cette location, que nous conseillerons également sans modération à tous nos amis.
