About the property

Private Villa-apartment

Offering probably some of the best views on Costa del sol these two 2 bed apartments forming part of a private villa.

Each apartment has a kitchenette with granite surfaces, and is fully equipped with oven, ceramic hob, fridge freezer, slow cooker, oven, microwave and washing machine. They also have lounge/dining room, one twin and one queen bedroom, two shower rooms, washing machine, TV, air co/heating units in every room, private BBQ and parking spaces. The private terraces have stunning southern views of the coastline, village and mountains. In some weather conditions you can see as far as Morocco and Gibraltar.

The central location of Mijas makes it the perfect destination to either relax or explore this beautiful region. There are more steps leading to 180 degree apartment Garden than to 360 Apartment. There is also a Hydrotherapy spa with seats for six people. It is under cover and heated to 36' when in use, most often in high season summer.

There are many excellent golf courses close to the apartments. It is also possible to ski in the Sierra Nevada which is just under two hours away.

We would be pleased to discuss rates for longer lets from the beginning of November until the end of February. The rate would depend on whether or not cleaning and laundry are required.

A bottle of wine is placed in the apartment for your arrival.

In order to clean for the next guests the apartment must be vacated by 10.30am. If flights are late then luggage may be left at the villa and collected later. Changeover day is Saturday but this can possibly be flexible during the winter, spring and autumn months.

Location: Mijas Pueblo is ideally placed for a lazy holiday when you sun bathe, admire the views and eat well but it is also perfect for those who like to visit interesting places. Marbella and Malaga are a twenty minute drive, Seville and Granada (the Alhambra Palace) can be reached in two hours and historic Cordoba takes one and a half hours. Gibraltar is an hour away as is the beautiful mountain town of Ronda.

In the winter you can ski in the Sierra Nevada (one and a half hours away) in the morning and if you have the energy it is possible to be back in time for a round of golf at one of the numerous courses just a ten minute drive from the apartment. You can then round the day off with a rejuvenating dip in the spa. A relaxing or energising holiday, the choice is yours.

Eating out: There are about 40 restaurants within walking distance of the apartment but there are numerous others within a ten minute drive. Anything from a complete meal with twenty choices in each course for €7.25 to a special night out in luxurious surroundings with Cordon Bleu cuisine. We would be pleased to advise and recommend restaurants in the area that we have visited personally and where we believe the food and ambiance to be excellent.

Mijas and the surrounding area is without a doubt one of the most beautiful locations in the world. Facilities abound, with everything from numerous restaurants to doctors, dentists, hairdressers, beauty salons, not to mention over 40 restaurants in the village alone. In case of emergencies hospitals all with a few minutes drive. There are also numerous activities for children, an abundance of golf courses (hence the nick name name Costa del Golf), supermarkets, shoppings malls and an el Corte Ingles department store is just a short bus ride or 10 minute car journey away.

The laundry of all bedding and towels is included. The apartment is thoroughly cleaned at changeover and clean bedding and towels will be provided at the end of each full week if your stay is for two weeks or more. We do not supply bathing or kitchen towels.. A deposit of £50 per week is required. Beneficial rates for bookings of four weeks or more depending whether laundry/cleaning required..

There are only two apartments in this beautiful private villa and the facilities (i.e. pool, spa, etc) are shared only with the owners. It is not a community property. Most people will have no problems with the hill leading to the property but some older people may. Feel free to discuss this for an honest answer. Unfortunately it would not be suitable for people who need wheelchair access. Smoking is only permitted on the private terraces but not inside the apartment or the swimming pool, covered terrace or garden areas. Children who are well behaved are always welcome. Although bath and hand towels are provided for the apartment face flannels are not, neither are bathing towels. There are plenty of sun beds around the pool. The pool is heated in April, May and October to extend the swimming season.

Mijas Pueblo is a lovely & the villa is a brilliant place to stay.

Henrik is doing a brilliant job of making this Villa lovely.

Our appt was nice & suited us.

The pool was amazing for our 2 girls who had a brilliant time.

The walk to the villa is steep, even so we walked into Mijas Pueblo every night to enjoy the bars, restaurants & various activities taking place in the squares.

The villa had amazing views & we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony looking out.

Taxi transfers were easy & we took the bus to the beach one day which left from the main square.

Fantastic views and wonderful place to stay

What can I say what a beautiful villa and great hosts. We've just got home from 8 great nights great location and well presented little hill to walk up but that didn't matter to us would definitely recommend and hope to return soon

Cosy 2-bed apartment with great outside space and stunning views

This apartment is an ideal base for a break in Mijas. It's right on the edge of the village, so it's quick to head in for a meal/drink/shopping, and also very quick access out of the village and down to the main motorway to explore the rest of the region. Kitchen is small but well-equipped, and there's an excellent gas barbecue. Bedrooms are comfortable and reasonably spacious; living area not huge, but you'll want to be outdoors enjoying the weather! Also loads of outdoor dining/living space private to this apartment, with additional private roof terrace with fantastic views of the village, coast and Mediterranean. You also have access to a shared pool and jacuzzi area, which is always very quiet. Access is via a quiet and paved, though steep, road. There's a quick walking shortcut into the village - walking back up is good exercise! Host lives onsite and was friendly and helpful and very responsive to any questions or requests that we had.

We stayed in Casita Julian one of two apartments set within this villa. Lovely apartment with everything you could possibly need to ensure you have a wonderful holiday. Including: welcome pack of food, kitchen with everything you could possibly need including oven microwave kettle toaster fridge freezer, English TV, WIFI, aircon. Balcony with views to die for! Lovely swimming pool with separate jacuzzi. We didn't have a car, the initial walk up nearly gave me a coronary! However, there is a shortcut through the garden but lots of steps. We walked into the village but alway jumped a taxi back which cost €6. Local bus stop at bottom of hill. But would suggest a car for the less mobile. Suggest if your going to travel by public transport (which is easy). It's a good idea to get a travel pass which you load with money at local newsagent this gives you a reduction on all travel including trains. E.g. Cost of bus to Benalmadna €1.55 but with travel card it's €1.07 (price correction at time of writing review). Lots of lovely restaurants in Mijas Pueblo but we loved The Secret Garden! Joan is a wonderful host, very helpful and most welcoming!

Today I remembered leave for a week in September 2015 in Mijas. I said I would have to write what I felt in me to live this way that magic again. I was lucky that on 09.05.2015 when we got off the holiday village which has brought us every night cultural events that we enjoyed. We danced, children were excited about games, I listened to traditional music in summer theater in the evening when Aung tired funny with two children 5 and 9 years, went on to reach the apartment's terrace clouds hand. It was splendid to pass the clouds and patting your hair, my little girl was startled and scared by the spectacle of clouds. A view of stayed in my heart, I close my eyes and think to relax with imagine.Imi sorry now that I took pictures with Joan and Julien for me made me feel like part Mijas- ului.Copii were very excited about everything, Mrs. dog and we upset that not live there. We absolutely loved the community, tradition, culture, visited imprejurimele to Gibraltar and Ronda, where Mrs. gave us a map with great prcizie main sights on a sheet, which I liked and admired.

Stunning views!

Spent a fabulous month in this apartment on the edge of Mijas Pueblo. The apartment has everything you need and is very comfortable. The owners are on hand should you need anything and are very helpful with lots of local knowledge of where to go and how to get there. Mijas is a lovely place to stay and yet well located for exploring the area. As mentioned the walk up the hill is testing but well worth it for the views and not a problem if you have a car.

Mijas Pueblo is a gem of Spain, small and with immense character yet close to the large number of modern leisure facilities that Fuengirola, Marbella and Malaga offer and shopping that is as good as anywhere in the world. The apartments are within a ten minute walk of the centre of the village, although it must be said our road is steep so older people and those with very young children may prefer to drive into the village. Our fantastic views are worth it though. There are several small supermarkets for daily needs and over forty restaurants so even if you don't have a car you will not have to cook if you don't want to.

If you decide to hire a car there are many places of interest and beauty to visit with something for everyone within a short distance of the villa. So, although a car is not essential we do recommend hiring one in order to explore this incredibly beautiful area. Marbella, Ronda, Gibraltar, the Lakes, Granada (the Alhambra), Fuengirola to mention but a few. You will be spoilt for choice. Words cannot do it justice, so why not come and see this stunning region of Spain for yourself.
