Amazing! Gorgeous views!
The condo was wonderful! It was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Our favorite features were the patio right by the crashing waves, the iguanas nearby on the rocks, the beautiful heated pool and filtered water throughout the condo. We drank the water with no problems. The shower had good pressure and hot water. The security guard wanted to see a receipt and helped us with our luggage upon arrival. It is a bit of a hike to and from the unit and to the beach for those with physical limitations. The WiFi info on our arrival email was incorrect but the password was right on the modem in the queen bedroom. We couldn't unlock the safe, so we hid passports and valuables. Ed provided the code the next day but we didn't try it because it felt safe. They're are good locks on the windows and doors. It didn't seem like anyone came into the unit during our stay. Occasionally security guards would walk right by the unit which was startling because you get used to the privacy. Just draw the curtains before changing. :) We visited the marina and Medano beach. Although there are a lot of vendors, the atmosphere was light, friendly and fun! We had lunch at Deseos on the marina, great tableside guacamole, fish tacos and drinks. Then we took a glass bottom boat tour ($15) to the Arco and Lovers beach, beautiful! Lots of barking sea lions! They dropped us off at Medano. We had drinks at one of the resorts and swam in the ocean. It's great for swimming, clear and sandy.
We rented a car from Cactus. They were great, met us at the airport and took us on a short shuttle ride to the office. We had a little trouble with the uturn bridges. Be sure to stay in the correct lane, not always the far right side. Coming from the airport, when coming down the uturn bridge, you take a quick right at the sign. Also watch out at stop signs as they're often treated as yields. We ate at Mariscos El Toro Guero in San Jose del Cabo, delicious! We had lunch and spent the afternoon at Esperanza resort just a short drive East of Misiones, expensive but gorgeous! We got nice, reasonably priced massages at Senza right up the road.
We drove to La Paz and Todos Santos. We swam with whale sharks with Ecomigrations! Highly recommended. It was amazing!
We walked to Sunset Mona Lisa and had pizza upstairs at Sunset Point, both were excellent, with beautiful sunset views!
Andres makes great margaritas at the pool bar!
