Comfortable and good value accommodation in the heart of Constantine Bay

NB The standard changeover day at Seascape is a Saturday. We do allow short breaks at all but the busiest times - just ask. Please be aware that for short breaks and non standard start days, the pro rata price displayed on this website will not be correct. Please just contact us for pricing.

Seascape is a well-loved single storey property in prime location at Constantine Bay. It has been in the same family for many years, and has regular guests who come year after year. Although not overly large, Seascape allows 6 adults and 4 children to live easily and comfortably. It has been updated regularly, while still retaining a perfect atmosphere for a family summer holiday!

Sleeping

There are 5 bedrooms at Seascape. The main bedroom is found at the far end of the house and has been recently redecorated with new paintwork, basin, carpets and curtains. It is normally made-up as a large double bed, but as in two of the photos, can be prepared as 2 singles. The 2nd double is also equipped with a basin. There are 2 bunk bed rooms which are most suitable for children and teenagers, while the newly finished twin room can be found at the back of the house. This twin can also be made up as a double on request.

Bathrooms

The 2 bathrooms are modern and well equipped. One has a bath and overhead shower with solid screen. The 2nd has a power shower.

Living

The living room can be found just to the right of the hall, and is a nice, cosy space to relax or watch TV. It has a relaxing window seat to watch any activity out in the garden. The kitchen may often though be the hub of activity.

Kitchen and Dining

The kitchen is a long welcoming room with wood floors and a large wooden armoire - facing onto the garden outside via 2 large windows. There is plenty of work surface, a 4 ring electric hob and oven. The dining table dominates one end of the room, with seating for 10. Its a fun place for family meals at any time of day. The 2 wooden pub tables/benches outside ensure there is plenty of space to eat out whenever the weather allows.

Facilities

Seascape has a washing machine, small tumble dryer and dishwasher. A TV and DVD is provided in the sitting room. There is double glazing throughout.

Outside

The garden outside is a large flat space laid to lawn, and extending around to the back of Seascape where a back door leads out to a suntrap perfect for your morning coffee. Around on the main lawn there is plenty of space for cricket or football. Although not huge, the garden is always well-used for fun, relaxation and games.

Nearby

Seascape can be found 1 house back opposite Constantine Bay Stores and Constantine Bay surf store. Trevose Golf Club is minutes walk away, providing access to the most spectacular golf course, tennis, swimming as well as a thriving bar and restaurant available to all. The well-stocked Constantine Bay Stores couldn’t be closer, with a range of quality goods that should allow you to avoid your car and the supermarket for quite a while on your stay. The surf-shop next door will ensure you are well-informed and well-equipped to enjoy the wonderful beaches and surf on your doorstep – whether you wish to buy or rent your wetsuits and boards, or just have your first surf lesson.

The beach at Constantine can be reached down the beach road past the shops, or down a small footpath from the corner of the golf club and along the edge of the golf course. The path emerges in the middle of the fantastic dunes at the top of the beach after less than 10 minutes walk.

St Merryn is the nearby village providing pubs and shops, as well as a number of restaurants including Rosel and Co for a very special dining evening. Padstow is only 10 minutes drive away -with its array of boutique shopping and gourmet food.

We let our owner’s holiday homes out to guests many of whom we have known for years. Holidays with Raintree will always be memorable and enjoyable as we manage all aspects of the houses ourselves. We employ our own cleaning and maintenance teams, this means we are very flexible and can achieve very high standards across all our houses.

Coast/Beach:

The beach at Constantine Bay is just 15 minutes walk away. Its a fantastic beach for surfing, swimming and sunbathing. Its huge, with plenty of space along the dune fringed sand to relax. Walking is amazing in both directions along the coast path. Treyarnon Bay is just next door, and Booby's Bay can be found at the north end of Constantine. The area is blessed with a multitude of other beautiful beaches, Harlyn Bay , Trevone Bay and Porthcothan Bay are all also within a 15 minute drive.

Travel:

Driving via the M5 and the A30 - being about 2 hours and 30 minutes from Bristol. Newquay airport is about 10 or 15 minutes drive away - with plenty of flights now available from around UK.

Distances:

Padstow is 5 minutes drive away, while Newquay is about 25 minutes drive. Rock and Polzeath can be driven to in about 30 minutes - or you can take the ferry across from Padstow. St Ives with its fantastic art galleries and beaches is just 50 minutes away.
