Beautiful newly refurbished house in Constantine Bay, nr Padstow and great beach

Pendoric has been completely remodeled and expanded throughout to create a supremely comfortable and stylish house, the perfect place to create family holiday memories. It has been thoughtfully finished with quality materials and furnishings and is comfortable and spacious. It boasts a dramatic upstairs sitting room with large wood burner and Velux windows that fold out to create useful small balconies. The views from here are of the sea and coastline wide across the whole horizon and are really magnificent. The kitchen is large and very luxurious, with a granite topped island, aga, desk area and double doors out onto the private rear terrace, and the entrance hall is double height – really setting the scene for the dramatic and beautiful house beyond.

The house sits in a large plot and is surrounded by well planted lush gardens with a large lawned areas and super sunny patio. It can sleep 9 in 4 bedrooms and benefits from 2 sitting rooms, one on each floor. It sits in a tucked away yet convenient location perfect for the golf club at Trevose (there is a gate in the garden allowing access out to the road very near to the golf club!) and only 10 minute’s walk from the beach at Constantine.

All our houses are within walking distance to one of these beautiful beaches and a large number have spectacular sea views. We let our owner’s holiday homes out to guests many of whom we have known for years. Holidays with Raintree will always be memorable and enjoyable as we manage all aspects of the houses ourselves. We employ our own cleaning and maintenance teams, this means we are very flexible and can achieve very high standards across all our houses.

  • Pendoric has a good selection of bathrooms to complement its size. On the ground floor there is a separate spacious shower room just off the utility room with a separate external door to provide a convenient place to shower off after a day at the beach or on the golf course without coming through the house. The other two bathrooms on the ground floor are both ensuites which serve each twin respectively. One has built in shower, loo and basin, the other a bath with shower over, loo and basin. Upstairs there is the main family bathroom with bath, with a good quality shower over, basin and loo which also enjoys good natural light through a well-positioned skylight. The last upstairs shower room is ensuite to the master bedroom, and features a large and smart shower cubicle, basin and loo again with super natural light streaming through a skylight in the roof plane. All are freshly decorated and contemporary in finish.

  • The house sleeps 9 in 4 bedrooms, the 2 downstairs bedrooms are made up of two twins (one can be made up as a super-king). The first twin has its own ensuite shower room with a large window that lets in good light and enjoys pleasant views out the over the garden. The second twin is next-door and again benefits from an ensuite – this time with bath. They both feature contemporary bedside tables, chest of drawers and built in wardrobes. The first floor bedrooms consist of a king-size double off to the left as you reach the top of the stairs with a neat built in window seat and attractive views of the sea in the distance from one of the two windows. The 4th and final bedroom, at the end of the upstairs landing, is a bunk room with a bunk bed and separate single bed against the opposite wall. It's a great room for children and features great natural light with dual aspect windows.

Coast/Beach:

The beach at Constantine Bay is just 15 minutes walk away. Its a fantastic beach for surfing, swimming and sunbathing. Its huge, with plenty of space along the dune fringed sand to relax. Walking is amazing in both directions along the coast path. Treyarnon Bay is just next door, and Booby's Bay can be found at the north end of Constantine. The area is blessed with a multitude of other beautiful beaches, Harlyn Bay , Trevone Bay and Porthcothan Bay are all also within a 15 minute drive.

Travel:

Driving via the M5 and the A30 - being about 2 hours and 30 minutes from Bristol. Newquay airport is about 10 or 15 minutes drive away - with plenty of flights now available from around UK.

Distances:

Padstow is 5 minutes drive away, while Newquay is about 25 minutes drive. Rock and Polzeath can be driven to in about 30 minutes - or you can take the ferry across from Padstow. St Ives with its fantastic art galleries and beaches is just 50 minutes away.
