Fantastic restaurant, just 2 minutes walk away.

The estate is big enough that you are sure that your children are far away from roads, & other dangers.

It is however, small enough, in that you will soon get to know your fellow holidaymakers & their families.

Particularly popular is the large solar heated pool, & play - barn for toddlers.

Nancy & Peter will be on hand throughout your stay to ensure your comfort & enjoyment.

The Properties

All the properties are self contained & are situated around a grassy courtyard. Bed linen is included in the price, as is a welcome pack, which provides the food items to “get you going.”

Children welcome & catered for.: Book now for 2014 at the same rate until the new tariff is released.

Please ask if you require cots, high chairs, bouncy chairs, baby monitor, or anything from a long list of baby equipment available to you FREE of charge.

Details for holiday barn La Grange, 4 Bedrooms, Sleeps 9, 2 Bathrooms

This spacious stone barn has four bedrooms (of which one is on the ground floor) being two doubles and two twins. There are two bathrooms; one with a shower cubicle, bidet, toilet etc. on the ground floor and the other with a full size bath and toilet upstairs. It has a large galleried living area with exposed beams, comfortable sofas and chairs and satellite TV. Open plan stairs lead up to the  gallery giving access to three of the four bedrooms. Down a short flight of stairs from the living area there is a large well equipped kitchen and dining area with tiled worktops, gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and a large American fridge/freezer. The garden which overlooks the village has a terrace with garden furniture and a BBQ.

A lovely 4 bedroom cottage ideal for a family

This is a lovely cottage in peaceful rural surroundings on a very private site. Peter & Nancy are delightful and attentive hosts and their Sunday evening barbecues, when they invite the residents in all their properties to mingle, sets the holiday off to a great start. The communal pool is big and spacious with plenty of sunbeds. The delights of the Dordogne can be explored with ease from this site. The amenities of the site and the area are ideal for family holidays.

We spent a long time researching the area with no prior prejudices, or favourites, so that you need look no further! Le Manoir De St. Marcel is absolutely in the right geocentric location for your visit to the Dordogne! To the West you have the vineyards of Bergerac, & further on, St. Emillion. To the South, just a 15 minute ride to the River Dordogne, with all the chateaux, forts & canoeing it has to offer. To the East Sarlat, & the popular sites of the Dordogne. Finally, 20 minutes to the North is Perigueux, a wonderful old city. Yes! - You will find Le Manoir De St. Marcel is ideally located for your holiday. - Many guests return year after year. - They know!

Le Manoir De St. Marcel rests on a South facing side of a valley. The views across the valley which is mostly wooded, make for a relaxing ambience. The 5 properties are nestled around a grassy quadrangle. Built in the local sandstone, they form a picturesque backdrop for your holiday. Well away from public roads they provide a beautiful, safe, environment for you, your family, & dog.
