This split level apartment overlooks the lush tropical gardens, where Art studios are situated and there is a great view of the caribbean sea from the balcony. The kitchen and dining area are upstairs. There is seating both inside and outside on the balcony. Downstairs on ground level is a large bedroom with a huge double bed and a shower room. An additional bed is available for a small child (fold up bed).

Access to the beach is only a few steps away.

The apartment has a ceiling fan upstairs, downstairs and on the balcony. There is also one mobile fan unit that can be moved around the apartment if necessary. All windows and doors are fitted with mosquito nets. There is a net over the bed if needed.

Why Lisa Carroll chose Holetown

Our friend invited us to stay in his apartment and a few years later he was selling it. It was perfect timing for us as we were looking for a property on the island and we loved the set up at Art Studio condominiums.

What makes this apartment unique

Sitting on the balcony looking at the beautiful sea view, watching birds and admiring the gardens.The apartment complex is relaxed and open plan and the staff are excellent, friendly and very informative of the local area.

Guests from other apartments sit down by the beach at sunset with a drink and share stories.

We had a great stay, thank you! The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped, we wanted for nothing! We spent a lot of time on the balcony on your super comfy sun loungers. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. We would love to stay again one day!



We had selfies with Simon Cowell ;) and spotted a couple of super models + Chris Evans and family all of which amused us. We ate some great food from the vans and Rocknet as well as amazing meals at Nishi and the Cliff Beach (definitely recommend both).

Return visit to the Art Studios

We returned to Art Studios again this year having stayed in the complex last year. We chose no14 due to the fact that we had a view of the sea and faced away from the entrance roadway. We were very pleased with our choice of apartment and can say that the details on the web site lived up to our expectations. We have enjoyed a peaceful relaxed three weeks and were very sad at having to return home. We are independant travellers and hired a small car to use for shopping and touring the island eventually traveling approx 750 miles. We visited all the places we have seen before and enjoyed every minute. We tended to use the car in the morning then return middle afternoon to swim on the beach which we also enjoyed each morning before breakfast. The local people of Barbados are very friendly and if you take the time will always enjoy talking to you.

We have not eaten out in the evenings but at mid day. We found the cost of lunch acceptable and enjoyed the variety of dishes on offer in locations all over the island. The local supermarket in Holetown is more than adequate supplying good quality food at about UK prices with many well known UK brands available incuding frozen meals such as Pizza etc. The cooking facilities in no14 are very good similar to what would be at home. We enjoyed cooking almost every evening. There are however many good quality restaurants within easy walking distance of the Art Studios which we have in the past visited.

We found the layout of the apartment ideal with the bedroom and bathroom downstairs it being cooler after a day in the sun. The enclosed balcony was a favourite place for us where we ate breakfast, watched the antics of the wild birds, sat and read books in the afternoon with a sample of the local brew. The apartment was cared for by the local team and they made us feel so welcome, you could not ask for any better care and attention.

We have enjoyed our visit to the Island of Barbados and for us the apartment no 14 completely met with our expectations. Many thanks for a great holiday.

Owner's Response: We do our best to give an honest description of our apartment, so that our guests know what to expect. Unfortunately the sea view is not always seen, the bushes and trees tend to grow very quickly and can occassionally block some of the view. It is great when people enjoy Art Studios so much that they want to return. The staff are dedicated and work very hard to make your visit enjoyable.

Wonderful place for a holiday

We stayed in apartment no 14 for 4 nights in January 2017 and we enjoyed it a lot.

The apartment is very well situated in a quiet location close to the sea but also close to shopping and restaurants. And there is a busstand nearby making it very easy to reach all corners of the island without renting a car.

The apartment is well equipped with all things you might need in the kitchen and in all other aspects. From the wonderful balcony you can enjoy the sight and the sound of the ocean. In the garden we saw monkeys, hummingbirds and mongooses.

This is a wonderful place for a holiday.

Perfect Location

Spent a fabulous week at the beginning of January in apartment 14. The location couldn't have been better. Plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The beach is just steps away and is very quiet, although you can walk up and down the beach to busier sections if you prefer.

The supermarket is within walking distance and has a great selection, including some Waitrose products! There is also a deli counter - we bought lunch a few times and took it back to the apartment and ate out on the balcony.

We used the bus a few times to get around the island - the bus stop is outside the entrance to the apartments.

There isn't any air conditioning, which I was a little concerned about, but the fans kept the apartment cool and we didn't experience any problems.

The apartment is well equipped and clean. We enjoyed several lunches on the balcony, which has a lovely sea view. The balcony is well equipped with table and chairs and two loungers.

We look forward to booking another stay next year.

Better than our expectations!

Great location as could walk to dinner, shopping. Bus stop at end of the road. Lovely beach steps away. Kitchen very well equipped. Property very clean and staff exceptional. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and plan to go again in 2017.

Perfect base for Bajan break

Just got back from a lovely three-week stay at Art Studios. Can't recommend it enough. Clean, comfortable and brilliantly located in Holetown - five minutes walk from a large supermarket as well as plenty of restaurants, shops and bars, although the well appointed kitchen means that you can just as easily self-cater and eat outside on the terrace. The pictures don't really do justice to how pleasant the terrace is - with a clear view of the beach and sea which is just metres away, with gorgeous swimming and sunsets. Why pay to stay at Sandy Lane when you can stay here and walk down the shore to the same beaches? Steve and Lisa were terrific hosts, with plenty of clear information and instructions before and during my stay. The daily maid service meant all I had to think about was which bar to go to next...

The perfect place for a relaxing holiday.

The apartment was comfortable and well-equipped for a self-catering break. Many meals were taken on the balcony which had a sea view as well as one of the gardens where the humming- birds were a delight each day.

We also enjoyed meals at Ragamuffins-a must is the Sunday night cabaret, Zaccio's is excellent value and the Surfside Bar is also worth a visit. Excellent Indian food can be found at the Sitar but the nearby supermarket can provide good quality ingredients if you wish to prepare your own meals - don't forget Earl ' s takeaways from the back of his car at the end of the road.

Each day, an early morning swim in the sea followed by sun-bathing on the beach or in the gardens.

The staff were all most helpful and welcoming and meeting other visitors to the Art Studios was a pleasure.

Would we recommend No. 14 to our friends? We already have ! As well as planning to return at the next opportunity- it' a real home-from-home. (With the right weather!)

The apartment is an 8 minute walk North of Holetown, which has a shopping centre with supermarket and duty free shopping. The Limegrove shopping complex is less than 5 mins walk away. Limegrove house many designer shops, restaurants and the cinema. There are many local restaurants and bars within walking distance. Most of the restaurants and bars are situated on 1st and 2nd Street which is only a five minute walk from the apartment.

Other Activities: Jet Ski, snorkelling, catamaran trips, swimming with turtles.
