MARINA RUBICON VILLA 'CASABLANCA' Luxury house in the best location, just 2 minutes walk to Marina/seafront/10km coastal path. Beach just 5 mins stroll. Very private with own solar heated pool. Absolutely spotless very comfortable, set on 2 floors furnished in a contemporary style to an extremely high standard. South facing patio with shelter for alfresco dining/barbecues. Superb views of sea/Fuerteventura from bedroom/ balcony. A car not essential, private parking. Its extremely safe, very quiet and no passing traffic. The villa has everything needed, fully fitted kitchen, utility room, A very large bathroom upstairs and shower room downstairs. Dining table inside and out, A roomy patio with 4 sun loungers/comfortable cushions. Free WiFi is an added bonus. Enjoy perfect all year round climate and magnificent sunsets. The Marina offers a choice of some of the finest restaurants anywhere, (various prices) a local market, use of gym, designer shops. Everything including the hotels are 5*deluxe.

0ur villa is cleaned spotlessly before you arrive, during the week together with a change of linen and towels, plus a departure clean. The villa has a fully enclosed solano/ utilitity room, with washing machine, ironing board, plus a great place to dry washing, keep all your wet gear plus store your suitcases. and of course the barbecue.

Beautiful designer blue kitchen with black granite worktops. It has a dishwasher, full cooker, built in microwave, fridge/freezer, and a breakfast bar., spotlessly clean with all you need for self catering.

If you do need a cot this can be hired in advance. Plus the use of mountain bikes, for only £25pw.

The nearest supermarket is only 2 mins walk, so no need to stock up, just buy as you need.

We can also arrange ' meet and greet ' transfers to and from the airport, which is a friendly start to your holiday

  • We think the size and quality of a bathroom is important., This was a definite plus when we chose this property, plus both bathrooms are beautifully tiled wall to floor. You need space and to have 2 bathrooms is a luxury A large landing and upstairs bathroom separates the bedrooms, a great size with double sinks enclosed in a full width marble top complete with full width wall mirror and spotlights, shaving mirror etc ideal if you are both getting ready together, it can save so much time. Again a good size bath is great, especially if you have children or if you just want to relax or soothe the tanned body. Powerful shower, and a bidet plus wall cabinets to keep everything in its place. The 2nd bathroom downstairs with shower, wc and basin is a great bonus, Also a refreshing shower outside by the pool. Both suites are white and always cleaned spotlessly Lots of beautiful fresh WHITE towels changed twice a week. Also cleaned midweek as an added bonus at no extra charge

  • Both bedrooms are light and airy. Both have double fitted wardrobes with lots of shelving ,dressing table, mirror, bedside cabinets and Switched bedside lights. They are completely separate, and both can accommodate a cot . The 2nd bedroom has 2 singles which make a huge king size The furniture is all good quality and the beds are extremely comfortable. Master bedroom has fitted safe, hairdrier. From your double bed you can see Fuerteventura, the sea and the masts of the boats in the Marina gently swaying .Patio doors onto a balcony with chairs to enjoy a drink,watch the sunset before going out, or a morning coffee, Beautiful freshly laundered WHITE cotton sheets with under covers for complete hygiene, plus blankets and quilts, if ever needed. White towels twice weekly A bonus being upstairs you can leave the bedroom door/windows open so no worries about passers by and you can sleep comfortably. Dark blinds if you don't like the sun to wake you

This really is the most convenient villa for everything you could possibly need from a holiday. Please check out the Google facility to show its position. Many properties claim to be on the Marina this can be deceptive and disappointing. 0ur address is Puerto Rubicon and is literally right behind the Marina. However it is situated in a no through cul de sac so its extremely quiet with no passing traffic and very safe for children. Private parking so great for luggage, shopping etc. The supermarket is 2mins walk a huge number of restaurants, bars and fabulous shops and a market on the marina twice a week. Do visit the fabulous natural Pappagayo beaches, along the coastal path or by local bus. Dorado beach is only a stroll from the villa. If you rent a visit the National Park, Cesare Manriques house and monuments, his influence as an architecture/sculpture/artist has kept Lanzarote free of high rise, his use of volcanic rock in buildings/walls makes the island unique .

Wonderful Villa

Our first visit for over 20 years, and we arrived early February to lovely sunshine.

Anne & Dave had sent us lots of information beforehand, so we were well aquainted with what to expect, and they even sorted out car hire for us (at a fantastic rate.)

A car is not absolutely essential, as all shops, restaurants etc are in walking distance. But we would really recommend hiring a car. The Island is beautiful, and so easy to get around. There are tourist attractions that must NOT be missed! Timanfaya, Jameos del Agua, Cueva de los Verdes, and of course the Cesar Manrique house etc etc.

The lovely marina of Peurto Calero is great for people and boat watching!

You will have a super holiday if you just stay around Playa Blanca - but seeing more of the Island will add so much more.

The Villa was beautifully clean and well equipped. The private pool was great, and we loved the private sun terrace.

We have returned to England, completely relaxed and looking forward to our next visit to Lanzarote.

Just a mention - the ferry to Feurteventura leaves from Playa Blanca. We set off one morning to explore the other Island, only to find we needed a passport to take the ferry! So don't forget yours!

A lovely villa in beautiful location

The apartment met all our expectations and is very comfortable. Anne and David were staying nearby when we arrived and brought some goodies round to start us off, which was a nice touch.

Casablanca Villa - a great place to relax

This was a very last minute booking to escape UK weather. The owners couldn't have been more helpful - including organising our car hire at a good rate.

The villa is as described on the HomeAway website and we would highly recommend it for those seeking a quiet location but very handy to a choice of restaurants, bars and shops in. Playa Blanca.

The villa was clean, tidy and catered for all our needs right down to towels and washing liquids. The mid-week maid service was also appreciated.

We would definitely return.

Lovely house close to Marina Rubicon

We rented 'Casablanca' at the end of March 2013. This is a lovely house, and provided everything that is needed for a holiday. It was very clean and the owners provided plenty of information about the house and the surrounding area. The kitchen was well equiped and there is a really useful utility room to store sun beds and other items overnight. It takes approximately 5 minutes to walk to the Marina Rubicon, and another 15 to walk to the main resort of Playa Blanca. We did not hire a car for this holiday as we normally do, but the bus station is in the main resort and there are regular services. The garden is secluded and has a private pool. There is also a sun shade that can be lowered onto the patio area when the sun gets too hot in the afternoon. We would definately rent this property again.

The only negative is the supermarket/shopping area opposite which spoils the view of the beautiful surroundings of this area, however the close proximity to all amenities more than made up for this.

Christmas 2012 in Playa Blanca - Super

My husband and I stayed at this lovely place over the Christmas holidays.

Everything was as-promised. We received a very useful information packet which included information from how to get to the apartment from the airport, to all kinds of things to do and see while we were there. This was really important to us as we had never been to Lanzarote or the Canary Islands before and were not sure what to expect!

The villa was spotlessly clean. The ladies came through mid-week, changed the beds and cleaned everything, including the floors. The pool was in meticulous condition as well.

Many things were in walking distance, including shopping, restaurants, and the water. The weather was fabulous and sunny.

All in all, we had a wonderful time, and would recommend this villa and Anne Marie and David very highly. My husband and I are already talking about when we will go back!

Luxury Villa in Peaceful Location

We spent four weeks in Villa Casablanca, prior to coming on holiday we had studied the information on the villa, however on arrival it was far and beyond our expectations. First of all a private parking place, then a few steps up past the pool to the front door, on entering the villa we were delighted with the quality of the interior.

A tastefully laid out Lounge and a top class kitchen, on the ground floor is a Shower and Toilet which is a great asset.

There were two beautiful bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor. The bed linen and towels were of a very high standard, two lovely ladies came twice weekly to change linen and towels and clean the villa.

It was a sheer delight to wake up each morning, open the bedroom patio doors and look out towards the marina and see in the distance the mountains of Fuerteventura .

The area around the poolside is a real suntrap, four very comfortable loungers where you can relax and take in the sunshine. The pool is serviced on a regular basis be a very polite gentleman.

The villa is about twenty minutes walk into Playa Blanca, however just about ten minutes walk you are at Marina Rubicon where there are excellent restaurants

and also two supermarkets.

We had a hire car but due to its central location and the 30 bus stop close by a car is not necessary. We would recommend this property.

We had a truly memorable and peaceful holiday and look forward to returning to Villa Casablanca.

Puerto Rubicon Villas are the closest residential properties to this stunningly designed marina which blends perfectly with the landscape.

Some of the best restaurants on the island, fabulous shops, sporting activities galore, supermarkets, Hotel opp for gym use.

The marina is set on a 10km coastal path, for strolling, running or cycling. Lots of bar/coffee stops

5min along is Dorado beach or carry on to fishing village/Harbour/ferry, Walk or local bus to the famous Natural Pappagayo beaches.

Immaculate villa so quiet just 2mins stroll to the front/sea. Safe for children, no traffic or passers by, set in a quiet cul de sac, Great as a romantic hideaway

The property is immaculate, well managed,and cleaned twice a week. A car definitely not essential but try to visit the fabulous culture sights all over this volcanic island. Amazing weather with a gentle breeze, so comfortable even at the height of summer,
