2 bedroom self contained holiday home in the Peloponnese area of Greece with fantastic views over the Messinian Bay and Kalamata. External steps lead up the back of the holiday home to the huge tiled roof terrace with sunloungers and dining furniture for outdoor eating. 1 double bedroom and 1 twin, both with wardrobes. There is a sofabed in the lounge so can sleep up to 5 people. This lovely holiday home has an open plan living room with a kitchen/dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a fridge/freezer, fan oven and microwave. The living area of the holiday home has a TV, DVD and CD player. There are several patio areas with pots of flowers surrounding the house and there is a small garden. The holiday home is set in a large plot with plenty of off-street parking and over 40 olive trees. There is a small chapel which has a festival with the local villagers (and anyone else) once a year usually the week after the Greek Easter. ** Now with air-conditioning.**

Spring Break Oasis

The Yellow House was the perfect retreat from our busy work schedule. It provided breathtaking views from a rooftop oasis. The owners were available for any questions we had before our trip and during our stay. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and eating meals in a cozy setting. The beds were so comfortable that we left very rested at the end of our vacation. Our family would love to return in the near future.

Mountains above Kalamata

Lovely quiet situation with great views and a roof top to enjoy them. It is well placed for some lovely walks in the mountains and also some site seeing. The villa was well equipped and we were greeted with a generous welcome pack for which we were most grateful. Jackie is helpful and friendly but not obtrusive. We had a lovely holiday.

a wonderful place

Exactly what we wanted. Excellent accommodation, clean and well fitted out. The owners were most kind and helpful and we could not have wished for better. I would certainly recommend this property. The quiet location offers beautiful views over the town and sea.

Great, well equipped house overlooking Kalamata

I just want to say how much we enjoyed our 2 weeks in this lovely house. It's near enough to the owner's house to get help if needed, but private enough at the same time. It has pretty much everything you need; if not Jackie or Pete were happy to lend something from their own house. The house is spacious, airy, and cool, the air con wasn't necessary for us in September. Regarding the drive up; it was a bit daunting the first time, especially after a long, tiring day, but after a few goes it's not a problem if you take care. It certainly did not stop us going into town in the evenings to take advantage of the many restaurants available. Just behind the marina, off the waterfront, are several real Greek restaurants, full of local people; the same can be found at the other end of town, just a bit away from the seafront. A 2 course meal with house wine can be had for €25 - 30 for 2. There are several beaches a short drive away, which, in the week were practically deserted, and not much busier at the weekends. In short, thank you to Jackie and Pete, for a great stay, and giving us all the help and advice when we needed it.
