This cabin is nestled in a wooded niche on a very secluded hill. This luxury cabin will resemble the best that the Smoky Mountains or Hocking Hills has to offer and it's all hear in Eastern Kentucky.

* Rates are based on 4 guests. To keep the costs low we do not charge a larger rate for only 2-4 guests. $15 per additional guests is 40% lower than the average cabin rental. Our cabin is comparable to a $350 a night cabin in the Smoky Mountains. Also our cleaning fee of $49 is significantly lower to the average $300 cleaning fee in Pigeon Forge cabins. 10% discount for 7 day, weekly rentals.

What you need to bring:
Your own food, shampoos and soap. Food.
Bring your own firewood for firewood pit.
Bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid for charcoal grill.
Walmart is 5 miles away in Louisa just off Route 23.
Only 1 hour away from Carter Caves.
Non-Smoking, preferably no pets, exceptions made.

Hiking - Yatesville Lake State Park is home to the infamous Mary Ingels Trail 3.5 Miles.
ATV Riding - Eastern Kentucky is famous for back country ATV riding including the famous Hatfield & McCoy trails. This cabin is about an hour from a Trail Head of Hatfield & McCoy.
Fishing - Some of the best bass fishing in the country is located 1 mile from this cabin. Fish 20 miles of Yatesville Lake, bring your boat.

We look forward to sharing our personal retreat cabin with you and your friends and family. There are coon dogs at a neighbors house over the mountain. They can bark for an extended period. You can't hear them inside however if you are on the porch, you will hear them. For most of our guests they aren't noticable but for a few, they can be annoying. Also you can park a boat or trailer up to 24 feet. 40 foot will be to long to get up the road to the cabin.

Book with confidence. Sacred Winds and our other cabin Heaven's Porch has become a refuge annually for so many. It really is high quality, peaceful and an incredible value.

overall impressions when we eventually found it were good it does look like the photos however a few of my biggest gripes were how clean the property was after having a look around it and finding empty coke cans the outside patio area was a mess and the two bbq"s... well neither had been emptied and the gas one was burnt away let alone cleaned looked dangerous to use....the kitchen amenities were basic but everything need cleaning before use the fridge was disgusting with dried food left in the draws and frozen coke bottles in the freezer...the spa was dirty the water was beyond cloudy just did not touch it.......the fact that when you were sleeping you could hear people on the deck outside during the night is just one part as well and when people are knocking on your door asking if you have seen their lost Chihuahua. And gun cartridges in the morning...really..! to cut a long story short we left a day early...and before anyone comments I am 52yrs old and work in construction so I am not a afraid of trying stuff but when you have paid good money for a holiday....well.! this is a review as requested by home away I do not want anything from this I am just doing a review

I would recommend this property to any young couples with 2 or more kids.

We had trouble paying our last payment on VRBO. They said it was a glitch in their system and they were unable to fix it After many phone calls trying to resolve the issue so we could pay our final payment, VRBO was not helpful. We finally decided to call the owner and he was nice enough to let us send him a check. We spent way too much time trying to get help from VRBO. They told us twice that they would call us back and never did. We kept calling them to no avail.

Well kept property. Was just minutes away from the middle boat ramp. Was a little tough getting my boat in and out of the property at first but after the first day it all went well. Nice and clean..

Wonderful Scenic Cabin

Great place to get away from it all. Plenty of space and amenities. Love the hot tub! Just be sure to bring groceries to avoid multiple trips into town. Oh and 4x4 drive is a must to get to the cabin. Owner was amazing to work with! Responds quickly to questions we had about the property.
