A truly relaxing getaway
The property was exactly as described - in fact better, because the grounds lead right down to the cliffs and the sea. Our host Brian could not have been more helpful and informative. The area is beautiful, with endless rugged coastline, wild sea views, and unspoilt walks. The cottage itself is well kept and equipped and very comfortable. We would definitely come back

Wow what a fabulous cottage, spotless.
Brian our host was so helpful and knowledgeable about the area making excellent suggestions for places to visit and eat. Blasket visitors centre a must 30 minutes' walk, we spent a great couple of hours on a rainy day. Quinns bar steak sandwich and beer brilliant. Brian responded in 5 minutes to a very minor issue. We could have sat at the cottage window for hours watching the changing weather. Lovely hour circular walk down to the beach in-front of cottage and round the headland back via the pottery factory. The cottage had everything we needed. We will definitely be back

A unique place.
Yes, the Dingle peninsula is a unique place with its rocky coastline and the Slea Head Drive that allows you to get close to the coastline. But the cottage we had rented, 3 miles outside the village of Ballyferriter, Atlantic view and all, turned out to be unique as well. Well-stocked in every respect, built five years ago, but with a lovely charm to it. Weather was during most of the week less than REAL summer, but one thing you should know when vacationing in Ireland: You never know what to expect, or: The only constant is change. Rainy and windy most of the days, but all of a sudden the sun came through, though sometimes just for half an hour. However, not cold, so we could do good walks almost every day. To say that we enjoyed it would be the understatement of the month. Add to this that owner Philomena was a sweet and caring lady. A lovely place, indeed.

Perfect stay
Everything was absolutely perfect : the house is clean and pretty, you can fknd everything you need in it. The view is stunning and it was very pleasant to have the sheep in front of the garden. The nature around is wonderful and hou have beautiful walks starting from the house. Last but not least, the owners were very kind and available for every question we could have. They made us feel very welcomed and completely at home ! We will hopefuly come back in the future.

A first class cottage with breathtaking views on the Dingle Penisula
We spent a magical week at this absolutely stunning cottage in January 2019. The cottage itself is beautiful and just as shown in the photos, built to a very high standard and very well maintained. The location is simply breathtaking, approximately 15 minutes from Dingle and approx 5 minutes drive from the small village of Ballyferriter. The views from the cottage are surely amongst the best in Ireland and we fully explored the rugged coastal landscape with daily walks and several drives further afield around the Dingle peninsula and Ring of Kerry. As expected most pubs and restaurants were closed in Dingle until Spring, however we had several lovely pub meals in Ballyferriter and enjoyed wonderful live music on several nights. Philomena and Sharon were both extremely welcoming and both stay close by should we have encountered any issues during our stay. Without a doubt we plan to return as I could not imagine a more beautiful base from which to explore this remote and very special corner of Ireland.
