This wonderful duplex apartment, with roof terrace, has been furnished to a very high standard. The apartment is situated in the Costa Galera Country Club estate and is surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens with outdoor pools. You also have access to the wonderful Albayt Country Club with gym, spa, restaurant, bar and the internet.

The apartment faces southeast and has been designed with outdoor living in mind. For this reason, the property boasts 3 terraces, plus a sun trap roof terrace. You have the fabulous Sierra Bermeja Mountain National Park as a backdrop, and in front of you stunning views overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and less than 10min walk away.

The property is secured with door and window shutters and an alarm system. There is also an on-site security guard who regularly patrols the estate and underground parking areas.

Estepona: Estepona is one of the most westerly towns of the Costa del Sol and a key tourist town. It is situated right on the coast, approx 70km from Malaga, between Marbella and Manilva.

It has excellent facilities, from restaurants and bars to fantastic beaches. The area is laden with activities to keep the tourists busy and the area around is bursting with fascinating sites and places to see. There is something for everyone here.

Within Estepona you can find a Traditional old style Andalusian pueblo. But you’ll also find a thoroughly modern tourist aimed town. Here is a town that maintains its rustic charm whilst still providing a holiday haven. That has, unfortunately become a rare thing. Estepona is definitely an exceptional and unique place.

Alternative ways to get there...: By train:

The nearest train stations are located in Algeciras (50km) and Fuengirola (53 km). The train station of Málaga (70km) has a good train service to all major cities in Spain.

By ship:

The splendid facilities of the Yatching Port of Estepona allow it to receive a wide range of ships and yachts. Furthermore, the international port of Algeciras, at 50 kilometers, connects with the North of Africa and issues tickets to all the continents. There are direct lines between the port of Málaga and Melilla, Ceuta and Tánger. The main cruises that sail the Mediterranean Sea stop also in Málaga.

Attractions: Close by there are many attractions to interest the whole family. Selwo Safari Park in Estepona with its animals roaming semi-wild is a great day out, as is the Zoo in Fuengirola.

There are also two Water Parks close by: one in Mijas Costa and the other in Torremolinos. Another great day out is a visit to Gibraltar, where you can take a tour of 'The Rock' and meet the Apes.

For the more adventurous, you can take a day trip to Morocco on the fast Ferry from Algerciras. Also in the area are several beautiful villages, towns and cites. These include Casares , Ronda, Mijas, Selville and Granada to name but a few.

The Costa del Sol is known as the Costa del Golf, with good reason. There are at least 40 courses along the coastline. Closest to our property are Estepona and Duquesa, both within a 5 minute drive and reasonably priced.

The famous Valderrama course is 15 minutes away as is San Roque, Marbella, Atalaya, El Paraiso and Sontogrande. Handicap Certificate usually required.

We had a great time in Spain. We really enjoyed staying in your apartment, using the pools and the Albayt resort for morning coffees and a sneaky massage! Costa Galera was a perfect base for travelling to other places such as Estepona, Marbella, Fuengirola, Sotogrande and Gibraltar. We also went to Jimena, to Castellar Zoo and to Sanlucar to visit my father. All in all it was a brilliant holiday and I would recommend your place to anyone!

Costa Galera Country Club is located just outside the town of Estepona.

The estate is perfectly connected with the A7 motorway and N-340 dual carriageway as well as with Malaga (70km) and Gibraltar (40km) airports. It is easy to reach by car: only 30min from Gibraltar Airport, 50 min from Malaga Airport, Marbella 20mins and Puerto Banus 15mins.

The nearest beach is just 10min walk away. The actual town of Estepona is a short 5min drive with its 21 km of beaches, plus a port, offering every facility and the most modern leisure amenities - water sports, restaurants, beach bars.

The estate is also close to Marbella and Puerto Banus, both of which provide a wide and varied choice of leisured activities, including shopping! If you are a golfer, there are numerous golf courses to choose from - all within a short drive. There is also a driving range and 3-hole academy golf course within the estate.

The bathroom is just next door. If required, the beds can be joined together to make up one kingsize bed. There is a small terrace leading off this bedroom from where you can see the driving range and Country Club plus a spectacular mountain backdrop. Bedroom 3 has a kingsize bed, built-in wardrobe and bedside cabinets with the bathroom next door. There is a travel cot and bedding available for use which is suitable for children under 2yrs. A designated car parking space is located in the secure underground car park directly beneath the apartment. At the heart of the estate is the Albayt Country Club offering a range of services incl. Spa, Restaurant, Bar, Library, reading area, pro golf shop (with resident pro) and a fully equipped Gym. A 3 hole practice golf facility with putting area and a driving range opened in Sept 2007. Paddle tennis courts and aerobics classes are also available. Indulge yourself in the indoor heated swimming pool, Turkish bath, Sauna or treat yourself to one of the many beauty treatments available. The showers are state-of-the-art with hot and cold power jets and essential oils. Daily, weekly and monthly rates are available.

Super apartment

Lovely apartment, very well appointed and maintained. The apartment is over three levels which is worth bearing in mind if you have young children or are elderly. The grounds and pools were super too - you could see three of the pools from the apartment and they were all two minute's walk away. Nice little bar very close overlooking two of the pools serving food and drink. Friendly staff. As with most properties in the area, you do need a car. Supermarkets and good restaurants a short drive away. The owner, Debbie, was really helpful.

Comfortable, clean and great views

Very enjoyable holiday in a great complex which is well maintained and several swimming pools mean they're not crowded. Owners friendly and helpful. Quiet in September and resort country club closed, but plenty of life in Estapona and nearby beach with restaurants and bars. Well recommended.

Clean, spacious, homely, amazing location

We felt at home from day one. The property is perfect. In a great location with an amazing view of the pool and the mountains. The complex is well maintained and the people are very friendly. We had the most terrific time and hope to be back later this year!!

Family Summer Holiday

One of the best family holidays we have had. apartment was perfect and in my opinion one of the best located apartments on the site. Really spacious and clean. Owner didnt mind us stopping a bit later due to a late flight. All in all a relaxing, enjoyable holiday. I wouldnt hesitate to go back. And we hopefully will !!!! Thanks.

Excellent Holiday Home

My wife, oldest Son and partner and me, have just returned from an excellent week at this superb apartment. It has everything you need, and was like a home from home. The Cosat Galera club and area is spotless, with gardeners and pool attendants always working away. Free driving range and 3 hole pitch and putt area was an added bonus. Very quiet and peaceful. The owners are excellent to deal with and made everything so easy for us. If you go, you must eat at the Argetinian restuarant in Estepona - SUR, the food is to die for, and well priced.

Costa Galer Country Club

We recently stayed at this apartment in Estepona and had an excellent holiday. The apartment is immaculate, the swimming pools on the complex are beautifully clean and the staff at the country club were very helpful and were more than happy to help us if we had any questions concerning the area and wanting to know about local restaurants and areas to visit. We had a wide choice of swimming pools and they were not at all crowded which meant it was very pleasureable to be outside all day.

I would not hesitate to recommend both the apartment and the area if you are considering a holiday in Marbella.
