This large 2-bedroom apartment is a delight to come home to after a long days sightseeing and window shopping. Located on the first floor (2nd floor for North Americans), with a lift, the apartment overlooks rue Custine, one of the most interesting street in Paris to walk through. Though facing the street, the double-glazed windows give you excellent insulation against any daily passerby.
The apartment has been tastefully decorated in vibrant colors, which catch the natural light streaming into the apartment. As the view is not obstructed closely by another building in front (as many building are in Paris), you benefit from the sunlight and can enjoy your morning breakfast a the wooden dinning table which extends to seat 6.
In the living room you will find a sofa bed that sleeps two. We also have installed a flat screen TV with cable (as well as a dvd player and some dvd's) and have high speed internet access for your laptop computers so you can remain in touch. We also provide you with a Mac Computer in the apartment, a free Phone during your stay and a Bose bluetooth station.
Through the French doors just off the living room is the master bedroom with its inviting queen-sized bed. For added privacy we have put up curtains than can be drawn closed from within the bedroom across the French doors. This is a well appointed space with a large wardrobe and large windows facing south out onto rue Custine.
The second bedroom at the other end of the hall can be set up with either 2 single beds or one queen size bed just let us know what you need.
Also off of the main hallway are the bathroom and the separate toilet so there is no need to enter a room to access the facilities. The apartment is 65m/sq.
The kitchen is fully outfitted with a full size refrigerator-freezer, an oven, a five-burner range and griddle, a dishwasher, a microwave, a Nespresso machine...
The apartment is fully supplied with bed and bath linens and also has a washing machine and a cloth dryer for your use.
This apartment has all that you would need and more to make you feel right at home, living in style in Paris.
Plus as we are a professional rental agency (Feels Like Home in Paris), we greet you in person when you arrive (we can also ask our chauffeur to come to pick you up at the airport), the apartment has been cleaned and prepared for you with a professional cleaning company, we provide you with a welcome basket (wine, coffee, foie gras, chocolate...) and there is someone on call 7 days a week. So you can really be relaxed during your time off and enjoy Paris with no worry!
After more than 10 years abroad, I decided to come back to France and Paris where I was born. I really appreciate living again in Paris, city of light! I am the company manager and take care of the bookings, the check-in, check-out, manage the services proposed during our guests' stay and coordinate with the apartment owners... In Feels Like Home in Paris we have decided to offer you only cosy and comfortable apartments which all have the same services : iPhone for free, laptop, cable TV, wifi, international calls for free during your stay, a personal greeting on arrival, a full welcome basket...By greeting you, it is ike welcoming friends. So à bientôt à Paris!
I would say instead "Why using a professional agency?" To make sure to get what you expect on arrival : a property perfectly clean, somebody waiting for you an arrival, someone on call 7 days a week...So it will really make your stay smoother and easier!
Perfect two bedroom flat in the Montemarte district (18) of Paris.
Working with the team to get set up and let is was nothing but a breeze, close to many restaurants, shops and Boutique stores everything was within walking distance. The Metro stop is about 4 blocks away which provided easy quick access to all of the top tourist attractions and museums.
The Property was very well maintained, with a newly renovated bathroom. Having a full kitchen came in handy with all the local shops (meats, cheeses, breads ect etc etc) Additionally, there is a computer available for your use and phone to make reservations.
The perfect place for a relaxing after a long day of seeing all the sights of Paris. Will Be Back !!
This past January, my husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Clair de Lune. The apartment is just north of Montmartre, in the 18th. With two metro stops within a five minute walk, the location was perfect. While the metro is certainly easy to get to for sightseeing, the local neighborhood had everything we needed: restaurants, cafes, markets, alcohol and wine stores, and plenty of boutiques. The apartment itself is just darling! Plenty of space for the two of us, and we were able to comfortably sleep 4 adults. The couch in the parlor also pulls out as an added convenience. The kitchen and bathroom were filled with all the updated comforts of home, including a dishwasher and washer/dryer. Plenty of closets made for easy storage of luggage during our extended stay. We were so pleased with our stay, we cannot wait to return!
This apartment was warm, cosy and a beautiful place to stay in Paris. Easy to walk to cafes, bars and restaurants and connected to the bus and underground for easy travel. The welcome basket was a nice touch as was the Christmas tree for our arrival. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks Stephanie.
Comfortable, quiet, metro stops allowed exploration. Great neighborhood, wonderful grocery stores and patisseries.
We specifically chose this apartment in Paris to be away from the tourist areas. This neighborhood is behind the beautiful Sacre Coeur church where many local businesses are just steps away from the apartment. There are such good cafes, patisseries, butcher shops, fromageries, fruit stands and grocery stores where the locals go very close by. The bus stop is across the street and the metro is a few blocks away. The Montmatre area is so fun for eating and shopping and surprisingly not touristy except right by Sacre Coeur. Another plus about this location is that you're closer to the CDG airport.
Stephanie and her team have thought about every possible thing to make their guests comfortable! Jim met us personally at the apartment and gave us a thorough introduction on how to use everything. They also give you a local cell phone and an adorable welcome basket of goodies, very thoughtful gestures! The apartment is spacious with an updated bathroom (toilet room separate) and nicely stocked kitchen even including a Nespresso machine! I would definitely use Stephanie's properties again for my next visit to Paris! Highly recommended!
There is no better way to experience Parisienne life than from the vantage point of this charming and graceful apartment in the beautiful district of Montmartre.
High ceilings, wood floors, large windows & comfortable beds in an 1810 elegant building make a cozy retreat after touring the neighborhood. It is very close to Sacre Coeur and the Abessess as well as to metro and bus stops to reach any point in the city.
The scent of fresh bread wafts from the many bakeries, and green grocers, charcuteries, wine shops, and cafes abound.
Stephanie and her team have thought of every detail making it a warm and friendly, smooth and seamless experience.
We certainly hope to return!
