Charming two-storied, semi-detached villa in a private residential area both very close to the harbor and beaches of the Cap de Nice and to downtown. The ground floor offers 2 double bedrooms (each opening onto the lower part of the garden) and a large bathroom ; the upper floor includes 1 double bedroom with private bathroom (shower), a living room with balcony looking south-west on to the Château de Nice, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen with direct access to the upper part of the garden. The villa is surrounded by a lovely garden with orange, tangerine and lemon trees offering a very pleasant shade in summer. All of Nice major points of interest are at walking distance. Enjoy the rich cultural life of the Côte d'Azur and its all year round water sports activities (Yacht-club nearby). Discover the Alps (several ski resorts only 1,5 hour away) or the Côte d'Azur from Monaco to St Tropez.

Practically Perfect in every way !

The description and previous reviews for this property are what attracted me to it, and I was not disappointed. Michael was extremely helpful in our communications during the booking process and our stay. The property was charming, very clean, and in a great location. It was ideal for our party of 6 and I can recommend it for family groups as the layout offers a good amount of privacy. We enjoyed excellent weather during our October stay, and enjoyed walks into the old town and the convenience of the nearby bus stop for trips to Monaco and Cap-Ferrat. I especially enjoyed the location for daily runs around the harbour and along the Promenade des Anglais or going in the other directiion into Villefranche. We all loved our stay at this villa !

Beautiful villa

We stayed at this lovely villa for 2 weeks in May 2015 , one week with friends and the 2nd week with family. the villa worked perfectly for 6 adults, it was clean and spacious with all required facilities. We had breakfast in the garden every morning and had BBQs on 2 evenings. It is in a very quiet location but only 10 minute walk to all the amenities of the port area, we happily walked right into the centre of Nice in 35 minutes, although the local buses stop very close to the villa (including he ones to Monaco). You definitely do not need a car as there are a number of shops in walking distance. Michael the owner was very friendly and helpful even ordering taxis for us. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to friends. The description is very accurate , in fact we would add that the balcony can sit 6 adults comfortably for a very pleasant evening drink (and a game of travel scrabble as we did!)

Lovely Villa

My wife and I and another couple stayed here for a week while we went to the Grand Prix at Monaco. Its a lovely place, clean, spacious very well equipped, everything you could possibly want - and free wi-fi!

It has delightful owners, Michael was very helpful, booked taxis and restaurants and also returned a disk I stupidly left there.

Its in a lovely position. We had a couple of barbecues in the lovely garden, would definitely use it again.

Lovely Villa

The villa was spacious, immaculately furnished and very clean. It is built into the hillside and the two storeys meant our daughter and boyfriend had privacy and their own bathroom on the ground floor.

Located in a quiet residential area. A short pleasant walk down to the port of Nice. The courtyard garden was lovely with a good mix of sunny and shady spots, perfect for relaxing, breakfasts, and barbeques in the evening.

The owner is very friendly and helpful and booking was easy and efficient.

Charming and Spacious, Great Location

This is a lovely villa in a very nice neighborhood. It is walking distance from the waterfront, many restaurants, bus stops, and grocery stores. If you like to walk, it's only about a 20 minute walk to Old Town. The villa is clean, well-maintained, spacious and pleasant. It has a very pleasant garden and patio in the back. The owner was very helpful and spoke fluent English. He even called taxis for us when we had difficulty communicating with the cab company. (We phoned him at home and he very kindly phoned the taxi company for us and had a cab sent to the house.) There are many great local attractions. We especially liked the Matisse and Chagall museums, as well as driving to nearby towns to see the Matisse chapel and the wonderful Maeght Foundation art collection. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a pleasant visit to the area.

Nice Holiday

Three generations of my family, 3 couples, plus two year old grandson, spent a lovely week here. Anne and Michael were very friendly and helpful hosts. The location and accommodation was very good and the kitchen well appointed. The house and garden is safe for youngsters and generally very pleasant. The bay and Nice cliffs are visible from the windows and a short walk downhill takes you to the port. A few metres uphill takes you to the main road and bus stops. Local bus route 81 takes you into the town centre and bus station, gare routier. Route 100 to Monaco also passes here but is very busy and we found we had to go to gare routier first in order to board as all buses were 'complet' when they arrived. Prices were a standard 1 euro per trip - no doubt why the buses were so full. We also used the railway. We found 3 good small to large supermarkets within 10-15 minutes walk. The restaurants around the port were reasonably priced with good food. We could easily walk to the old Nice town which we thoroughily enjoyed, also the fruit and vegetable market. The Parc Chateau on the Nice cliffs has lovely views as did the boat trip around the bay. We would not hesitate to recommend the property.
